Chapter 66 - Fright at First Sight

Oliver was lying down on his bed, contemplating the whirlwind of events that had transpired for the past few weeks.

It had been exactly three weeks since Olivia arrived in his universe, as the Maestro called it, the Opposite World.

At first sight of her as she descended from the well, all battered up and damp from the blood and dirty well water, it was fright at first sight.

But his feelings of fright for her changed to care and protectiveness when he saw her faint because of her injuries.

The thing was, Oliver wasn't the nicest of guys out there.

Though, at this point, it was pretty much established already.

Anyway, it didn't make sense for him to feel that way upon seeing her.

Maybe it was his primal instincts of self-preservation (who knew he would learn something in class?), and the fact that Olivia was technically him from another universe, so he had this weird urge to take care of her.
