"So you just..." Olivia's lips started trembling, and her hands were balled into a fist. "You were lying?"
Soon, tears were trailing down her cheeks against her will. Realizing that she was breaking down against her will, she covered her mouth, trying to stop her sobs from escaping.
But the more she wanted to stop it, the louder her sobs became.
"Olivia!" JaNyx exclaimed alarmedly. "Oliver, look what you've done!"
"I didn't lie!" Oliver insisted, his tone childishly defensive.
"Then what was that last night?"
"What about last night?"
"Don't play dumb with me!" Olivia shouted mid-sob, causing other students eating lunch in the garden to look at the couple.
"Lower your voice down," He warned. "People are staring."
"Uh-oh," JaNyx cringed. "I'll give you two some time."
He then stood up with his lunch box and left the two to their own devices. Once JaNyx was gone, Olivia let out a sigh of relief and continued.
