"See!" Oliver gestured at JaNyx. "That's why you don't let him speak!"
Olivia knitted her eyebrows together. "That's a bit too much not to let JaNyx speak entirely…"
"Yeah!" JaNyx chimed in. "What Olivia said! But, on a serious note, I have a question."
"To me?" Both Twynes said at the same time. Upon realizing what just happened, they glared at each other and looked away.
JaNyx knitted his eyebrows, unsure whether to find their synchrony amusing or creepy.
"Either, both, whatever." He shrugged before pointing at the tree's roots. "Isn't it time for us to go have a seat? Oliver and I've been standing most of the time since you arrived."
Olivia lowered her head in embarrassment, nodding.
"I'm sorry for the trouble," She said in a soft and shy voice. It made JaNyx feel bad for making 𝘩𝘦𝘳 feel bad.
"No worries, Olivia." He said as he sat down under the tree, between the huge tree roots. "I really don't mind."
"𝘐 mind," Oliver scoffed.
"Shut up, Oliver. You literally play basketball." JaNyx pointed out. "You're used to standing up extensively."
Oliver didn't say anything and sat down on the tree root. So did Olivia. One sat on JaNyx's left, the other on his right.
"Okay," JaNyx drawled, finding it weird that they made him their make-shift separator. "Anyway, let's start our meeting!"
"Meeting?" Olivia repeated, tilting her head to the side like a confused puppy.
"We'll talk about sending you back to your universe," Oliver said in an irritated tone, as if Olivia should've known about this from the start.
Olivia frowned, gazing at JaNyx before looking back at Oliver. "You told JaNyx?"
"I did," Oliver huffed. "And what about it?"
"Don't you know you're not supposed to randomly tell anyone about being or seeing someone travel from an alternate universe?" Olivia raised her voice, her hands forming into fists.
"Told you," JaNyx made finger guns at Oliver, causing the latter to roll his eyes.
"Where did you get this dimension traveling etiquette anyway?" Oliver scowled.
"From JaNyx," Olivia admitted before pursing her lips at the thought she got something useful from her best friend's hobbies. "She's really into time traveling, dimension traveling, space traveling, et cetera."
"You actually listen to your JaNyx when he--"
"They," Olivia corrected. "My JaNyx identifies as a 'they.'"
Oliver narrowed his eyes and continued. "Talks about 'their' sci-fi bullsh*t?"
Olivia half-expected him to not respect her JaNyx's pronouns the same way he didn't respect his JaNyx's preference to be called in his IGN, but Oliver surprisingly did.
"Wait," JaNyx realized. "You don't listen to me whenever I discuss my hobbies?!"
"Of course, I listen." Olivia scowled, replying to Oliver and not the other JaNyx. "And don't call your JaNyx's interests in sci-fi as 'bullsh*t.' You shouldn't be treating your friends like that."
Olivia looked at the alternate universe version of her best friend before leaning closer to him. JaNyx became rigid as she patted his head, treating him like some sort of small animal.
"What the hell do you think you're doing to--" Oliver almost stood up from his tree root and was about to slap Olivia's hand off his best friend, but he saw JaNyx's expression.
He looked like he was on cloud nine.
"I like you already, Olivia!" JaNyx purred. "You're a lot nicer than Oliver."
Olivia raised an eyebrow, pulling her hand away. JaNyx pouted and literally whined like an injured puppy.
"Does like really mean 'like' in this universe, or does it actually mean dislike?" Olivia queried.
"Oh, no," JaNyx shook his head and clarified. "I meant it, Olivia. I really do like you." JaNyx started giggling, "Kya~! I'm already confessing to her on the day we just met! How romantic!"
Oliver sighed deeply. "Please, no."
"I'm just joking, sheesh!" JaNyx frowned, crossing his arms together. "Don't be weird. You're like a brother to me, so if I saw her in that light, that'd be like quasi-incest."
"Yeah," Oliver said mockingly and rolled his eyes. "But you want to f*ck your other self."
JaNyx paused as if contemplating.
Oliver gave Olivia a warning glance. "Don't ask him what he's thinking."
"What're you thinking, JaNyx?" But she still did, just to spite him.
"If I were to f*ck my alternate self..." JaNyx did 'The Thinker' pose. "Would that be m*st*rb*t**n?"
Olivia looked at him in confusion while Oliver sighed yet again.
"This is why you don't let him speak," Oliver reiterated his point.
"I understand now," Olivia nodded.
"No!" He whined. "Don't agree with him, Olivia! You're supposed to be on my side!"
"I'm on no one's side." Olivia smiled at him, yet her words were blunt. "Also, kindly refrain from talking about my JaNyx that way."
"Oh, sorry about that--Hey!" JaNyx straightened his posture. "You still haven't answered my question! Is the JaNyx in your universe hot?"
"I don't know how to answer that..." Olivia hesitated before speaking. "She looks just like you, except a flashier version."
"Are you calling me plain?!" He gasped dramatically.
Beside them, Oliver snorted.
"I wouldn't exactly call you plain..." She laughed wearily.
"You just did!"
"She 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘥," Oliver corrected.
"No, I didn't!" Olivia glared at her other self before returning her attention to JaNyx. "If it's any consolation--"
"Consolation..." Oliver stifled his laughter.
Olivia rolled her eyes at him and continued. "If it's any consolation, the JaNyx in my universe would definitely want to meet you!"
"You mean... '𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵' meet?" He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
Olivia nodded earnestly.
"Score!" JaNyx pumped his fist in the air.
"What does 'meet' meet even mean?" Oliver sweatdropped, not understanding where the direction of this conversation was going.
"Okay!" JaNyx cheered with newfound determination. "Let's go back to the topic at hand, we seemed to be losing track of our goal.
Both the Twynes nodded and gestured for him to continue.
So JaNyx did.
"I have devised a grand plan in order to send Olivia back to her universe!"
"What is it?" They both asked at the same time.
Again.
Just as they were about to fight again, JaNyx continued while clasping his hands together.
"Let's throw Olivia back in the well!"
