Chapter 62 - Praise Kink

Olivia furrowed her eyebrows together. It was her turn to become confused. 

"Because?"

"We didn't become awkward." He chuckled lightly. "Though it hurts my pride that my confession seemed like nothing to you--"

"It isn't 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 to me, Oliver." Olivia interjected.

But Oliver continued. "I guess it's better than you being all conscious of me, or hell, maybe even start to avoid me!"

Olivia sighed, realizing the weight of his words.

"Oliver, it's not that your confession means nothing to me." She argued. "It's just that everything is happening so fast, and I need time to process it all. I don't want to give you false hope or pretend that I can return those feelings right away."

Oliver looked down, nodding in understanding. "I get it, Liv. I do. I just... I can't help but be scared that I might've messed things up."

She reached out, gently placing a hand on his shoulder.
