The whole class burst into a fit of hysteria. Girls were dramatically fainting left and right, while boys were either swearing, 'Holy sh*t, the Captain is married?!' or cheering Oliver on.
"Oh, no, no, no!" Olivia chuckled wearily, cold sweat trickling down her face. "He's just joking!"
"Am I, babe?" Oliver leaned his elbow on the chair's desk, his chin resting on his hand. "Am I?"
Olivia wanted to give him the bird, but she was in front of the class. Also, some girls who didn't faint were glaring daggers at her.
"He's joking," Olivia insisted with a desperate voice. "We're both minors, so that couldn't possibly be true."
Their classmates nodded and murmured in agreement.
"Yeah, she's right." Oliver chuckled, finding her moment of panic amusing. "I was just kidding."
Just when she thought she could sigh in relief and mentally curse him, Oliver continued.
