I suddenly felt my heartbeat. increase and the tension for my wolf and a wave of worry took over. "Kayla" The name fell from my mouth unconsciously and I quickly stood up from the chair as I walked out of my office and headed to my car.
Mark quickly followed me, he knew now was not the time to ask questions.
I walk so fast that it almost feels like I am running and the confused gaze of my staff falls on my blind eyes because I don't even know why I feel this way.
As I approached my black Mercedes car, I turned and faced Mark. "Take care of all the business," I said with a commanding and harsh tone before quickly entering the car.
My hands hold firmly to the steering wheel as I hit the accelerator with full force almost like a race driver.
