Kaylee went to the restaurant first to request Vivian's permission. When she reached Vivian's office, she was stunned to see Noah inside.
"Good morning Ma'am." Kaylee greeted Vivian.
"Morning Kaylee." Vivian answered.
Kaylee turned towards Noah as she bowed slightly to him with a smile on her lips while he reciprocated her greeting.
Kaylee could not tell if she interrupted any conversation between her manager and the young man who stood close to Vivian's table. But they seemed to stop talking when they noticed her presence.
She glanced at the time in her wristwatch and saw it twenty minutes past the time she received the call.
Vivian noticed her worried expression and asked. "Is there anything?"
"Nothing much. Am here to take a permit to leave for a short time?" Kaylee answered, praying in her heart Vivian would not turn her down.
