Aunt Josette is beautiful, and it's not a secret. What's new for me is her love for ice cream. Who knew this woman could look so childish and sweet when she dives into the cold goodness of an ice cream?
Our life could have been so simple and ordinary. We could have been the aunt and niece duo who shared everything, had fun together, got into trouble and then got out of them. I wanted something like that, specifically from her. Until a certain point in my life, I wanted to be close to her.
"What are you thinking?" she asks me. It sounds so ordinary, once again, that I almost forgot the dynamics between us.
"I couldn't control myself there," I admit. "I was so angry that if I could, I would burn down the whole world. That is not normal."
