Even though he could see his internal organs he was not disgusted by it, as if he saw a beautiful car engine working on its finest, pumping oil and burning giving off certain rhythm.
He was not repulsed or scared by the sight of his flesh and blood, but rather amazed and intrigued. He saw the beauty and elegance of his body mechanics, like a masterpiece of engineering.
He felt a sense of appreciation and admiration, as he observed his body function in perfect harmony. He thought that his body was a wonder of nature, a complex and elegant machine that performed amazing tasks.
He realized how wonderful and precious his life was, and how much he had to be grateful for.
He did not notice the time, as he was so absorbed in his discovery. He lost track of time, as he danced around with joy.
He realized that it was getting dark and that he needed some light. He did not want to stop exploring his body and the light of dots, but he also did not want to be in complete darkness.
He just lit a portable usb lamp, connected to a power bank and hung it on the tree branch. He found a suitable spot where he could see both himself and Samantha clearly.
He adjusted the brightness and angle of the lamp to create a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. He decided to continue his exploration with the help of the artificial light source.
He no longer thought of finding shelter as he reasoned to himself that zombies would not bother him anyway.
He sat across Samantha, who was now also seated but still tied to the tree. He just bent her knees and tied them. He made sure that she was comfortable and stable, but also restrained and secure.
He wanted to keep her close to observe her zombie body closely.
Samantha did not pay any attention to Blaze's actions. She did not seem to notice or care about what Blaze was doing to her. She did not show any signs of awareness or emotion, except for a slight twitching of her eyes. She did not react or respond to his touch or voice.
She was still fixated on the sky, where the flashes of light were occurring. She was still drawn and captivated by the lightning, as if it was calling or beckoning her.
She was still obsessed and possessed by the lightning, as if it was the only thing that mattered to her.
On the other hand, Blaze gazed at Samantha with much passion comparing his body to hers. He felt a strong curiosity and desire, as he examined her body with his eyes.
He compared her features and shapes to his own, and noticed the differences and similarities.
Compared to the rotten organ, and some synapses of nerve that were still functioning on her body, Blaze noticed that her dot lights were very different. He saw how they contrasted and conflicted with her physical state.
He noticed that her light of dots was not like his, but rather had a different appearance and pattern. He noticed how they were dimmer and duller than his, as if they were losing their glow.
He noticed how they were more chaotic and erratic than his, as if they were out of sync. He noticed how they were more scattered and fragmented than his, as if they were shattered.
He noticed that his light of dots was connected by thin lines, forming a network of energy channels. He thought that they looked like the meridians in traditional Chinese medicine, which are pathways of vital force or qi that flow through the body.
He wondered if his light of dots and thin lines had something to do with his health and well-being.
He noticed that her light of dots was isolated and scattered, forming no coherent shape or structure. He thought that they looked like stars in the night sky, but without any connection or meaning.
And Samantha was missing the biggest light, right beneath the chest.
He noticed that he had a large and bright light in the beneath his chest. He noticed that it was spinning in a circular motion, creating a vortex of energy.
He thought that it looked like the sun, the source of life and warmth. He felt proud of his light, as he believed that it represented his strength and vitality.
He noticed that she had no light in the same spot. He noticed that it was dark and empty, creating a hole of nothingness. He thought that it looked like a black hole, a region of space where nothing can escape. He felt ominous, as he assumed that it indicated her death and decay.
Blaze kept studying her body and his for hours. He spent a long time observing and analyzing their bodies, trying to understand them better.
He felt like some kind of intimacy was developed between them. He felt like he had formed a bond with her, even though she did not respond or reciprocate.
After a while he felt sleepy but wanted to continue. He felt tired but also interested, as he wanted to learn more about their bodies and their light of dots. He hoped that he would find some clues or find the answers to the big question that everyone was wondering about, and maybe even a way to heal them.
Despite his desire to stay awake, his body made the decision for him. His body was exhausted and could not match his mind's curiosity. He fell asleep on the ground, murmuring her name gently, "Samantha…"
After an hour past midnight, Blaze got up with a blank stare and walked away from his sleeping spot.
Next day, Morning.
"HHUH!!! Samantha!!!"
Samantha's name escaped from Blaze's lips as he jolted awake. He felt a surge of panic, but it quickly subsided when he realized it was just a dream.
He looked around and saw that he was in the same crater where he had before. He didn't question how he got there, even though he had fallen asleep miles away. He shrugged it off as a normal occurrence in this crazy world.
