When Tina saw that Miley was awake, she heaved a sigh of relief and placed a set of clothes beside her tidily. "Miss Miley, you are finally awake."
Miley pointed at the pyjamas she was wearing and stuttered, "T-This pyjamas that I'm wearing…"
"I was the one who changed it for you. You were sweating heavily, so I changed it."
Tina went downstairs and came up quickly with a tray in her hand. On it, there was a bowl of congee with some pickles, a glass of milk and a glass of water.
"I brought you something to eat. Are you feeling better? I bet you're hungry!" said Tina cheerfully as he put the tray down on the bedside table.
She saw that Miley's face was not as pale as the night before. She looked much better. her natural blush had returned to her checks.
When she fainted in the kitchen last night, she looked terrible.
"Thank you, Aunt Tina. I'm much better now. I'll eat later." Miley was so grateful to Tina for taking care of her.
"Well, Miss Miley if you need anything, please feel free to call me."
Miley had been sweating abnormally, her fever had gone down. She took a shower first, then ate and drank everything Tina had brought. Only after taking the first bite did she realize she was famished.
In the end, she was so full that she decided to walk on the balcony. She took her phone along and found that there were several missed calls and unread messages from Sam and Cassidy.
"Jacket!" Miley frowned.
"That evil Dexter!" Miley crushed under her breath.
She then went downstairs only to see Tina standing in the living room with an apron
"Miss Miley, this is for you. Mr. Lombard has directed me to inform you that from now on you need to clean the villa. I'm so sorry…"
"Haha! I am not even surprised. You don't have to apologize to me. It's a piece of cake!" Miley gave Tina a faint smile.
After all, it was Dexter's idea. He wanted to make things difficult on purpose. Poor Aunt Tina was only following orders.
"This is your tool. You can start wiping the tables and chairs." Tina left a bucket of water and a washcloth.
While Miley started cleaning, Nellie and her butler came to the villa with a lot of gifts. When Nellie saw Miley wearing an apron and wiping the tables, she was shocked.
"Miley, what are you doing? And why are you doing it?" asked Nellie, shocked.
Miley was shocked by her sudden appearance. Looking back at Miley, she greeted her politely.
"Grandma, Have a seat." Miley helped Nellie settle into the sofa.
"Miley, Why are you working? Has Dexter been bullying you?" Nellie asked worriedly.
"Grandma, I think I can't live here. I don't why Dexter hates me so much" Tears were welled up in her eyes.
"Miley, Don't say that. I will teach him a lesson." Nellie said with panicked eyes.
'Have fun! Dexter.' Miley grumbled in her mind.
-----
As soon as Dexter knocked on the door to enter, a voice commanded loudly from the room, "Wait at the door!"
Even though it was a rather old voice, it was still full of strength. It was obvious from her tone that the woman in the room was not in a good mood.
Dexter arched his eyebrows as he closed the door of the study and obediently obeyed the order—he stood straight on the spot without taking another step.
After eyeing the door sideways, Nellie said in annoyance, "Enter."
Dexter walked into the room indifferently.
Nellie dried the calligraphy that she had written earlier and placed a paperweight on the table.
"Do you wish me to die?"
Dexter frowned slightly before asking nonchalantly, "What happened again?"
"You… Rascal!" Nellie was furious by his reply.
"Do you know what you are doing? Now Miley wants to divorce you! Apologise to her."
Dexter snorted coldly. "Grandma, She is not in good shape."
Nellie pursued her lips in annoyance. "Dexter, I warn you. Apologise to her."
Dexter took a few steps forward and knocked on the table in front of her with a serious look. "I am not going to apologise and I am not going to divorce her."
Nellie merely looked at Dexter in amusement.
"She is bored. Let her work in NEXT from tomorrow."
"Okay. Can I go now? I have a severe headache." Dexter declared.
Arriving at the largest supermarket in the city, Cassidy drove into its underground parking lot, and only then did Miley unbuckle her safety belt.
"Why? Are you feeling uncomfortable?"
"No" Miley nodded her head.
After dinner, Cassidy drove back Miley to Villa. As soon as she entered the room she was scared to death when she saw a man sitting on the sofa.
"You scared me!" She lolled on the sofa.
The vein on Dexter's forehead twitched, as he asked, "Where did you go this late?"
Miley leaned against the sofa with her eyes closed and said, "I hang out with Cassidy."
