"Will they really let it go just like that?" Kopi was still skeptical about it.
"They will," replied Shanti in a low voice. "But it couldn't mean I would get no responsibility from this."
Shanti faced Kopi and sent a glare, chilling the latter to the core.
Kopi was aware of the heaviness of his words, and Kopi nodded with an intention that he had understood what Shanti meant.
Shanti was satisfied by nodding his head.
"Wait here," said Shanti after contemplating. "I will give instructions to them."
Kopi turned and stared in the same direction where Shanti was gazing from. He saw lots of Police officers talking to each other in leisure, as though the Dimensional Portal didn't occur in the first place.
They had been careless since its disappearance… No, even since its appearance, they must have been careless from the start.
With such a notion popping up in his head, he couldn't help but tremble in anger.
