First, I got wind from Ariel that Damon once gave her a wad of cash. I tried to confront Damon face to face, but it was a big flop. Then, I got the proof from Jones.
Plus, I found out that Catherine was pregnant when she kicked the bucket.
Later, when I went to Jones for the proof, I got photographed, and the pics were sent to Damon, which stirred up a row between us.
Was all this really part of Jones's grand scheme? Like setting up Ariel and Damon in a room alone to be misunderstood by others? Was that his doing, too?
