Hunter insisted on coming to the hospital to visit me. I couldn't refuse, so I agreed.
"Eliana, you've lost weight again" Hunter said with worry as soon as he saw me. "Are you having a tough time lately?"
He knew what was going on in my family, so even if I didn't respond to him recently, he didn't hassle me. He was worried about my mood.
I looked at my arm. Indeed, I was thinner. If this kept up, I would be nothing but skin and bones.
"No matter how much I eat, I can't gain weight. How about you? How have you been?" I asked, smiling from my hospital bed.
Hunter sighed and said, "I'm planning to move to another city for work. Ariel hasn't stopped pestering me, and she ruined my job."
I was shocked to hear that Ariel had messed up Hunter's job.
Ariel was really brutal to Hunter. She previously had someone beat him up, and now she destroyed his job. She was obviously trying to make it impossible for Hunter to continue living in the city.
