"Who is it?" Damon asked, a bit puzzled.
"I'll go check it out; you go take a shower."
I had a hunch that the person outside was Snow, aka Catherine, because my medication was all out, and she always delivered new ones when I ran out.
I never understood why she didn't give me more at once, but now it seemed to make sense.
Since she knew Ariel, how could she not know about me and Damon? I remembered that she even threatened to jump into a river when I got married to Damon.
So she was deliberately finding ways to get closer to me.
"A shower?" Damon seemed a bit confused as to why I suddenly asked him to take a shower.
"Yeah, you smell like booze; go take a shower. Today is my ovulation day." I made up an excuse, one that would make Damon obedient immediately.
Sure enough, upon hearing this, Damon's eyes changed instantly. He nodded his head with anticipation in his voice. "Alright, wait for me."
