"What's this stuff?" Damon's gaze fell on my medicine as a frown appeared on his face. "Are you feeling unwell?"
I replied impatiently, "It's a tonic. That woman you just saw is my doctor. You might've pissed her off."
Damon casually picked up the medicine, sniffed it, and made a dismissive comment. "What kind of doctor offers home delivery service?"
"She's not working in any hospital at the moment. She just got back from abroad. Could you look up some information on her?" I was suspicious of Snow's identity. If Damon could find something out, it might be helpful. I needed to know who she really was.
My health was in her hands, after all. I needed to be careful.
Damon raised an eyebrow. "Eliana, are you out of your mind? You're entrusting your health to a freelance doctor? You think you've got lives to spare?"
If it weren't for Luna's pregnancy, I wouldn't have believed Snow so easily.
