Damon's hand reached out, brushing the corner of my eye gently. He asked in a low voice, "You are crying?"
I dodged his hand, shook my head, and replied, "No. I didn't cry"
"That's good then. I don't like seeing you cry over other men." Damon withdrew his hand, his words carrying a hint of warning.
I composed myself and replied. "That's for me to decide. Whether you like it or not, you shouldn't interfere."
Damon's voice was cold, "Let's go home."
I silently followed behind Damon. It was raining outside, and his car was parked not far away.
Damon held up a black umbrella, slightly tilting it towards me. I didn't resist because I didn't want to catch a cold from the rain.
Once we got in the car, I spoke up again, "Damon, you don't have to pick me up anymore. James can pick me up, or I can drive myself."
