I was speechless and just silently stared at Damon
Damon walked to the car, opened the passenger door, quickly got in, and sat down. "I was just joking. Take me to a nearby hotel"
"Why don't you drive yourself?" I was somewhat reluctant.
"Out of gas. I was in a hurry to find you, I didn't have time to fill up." Damon replied calmly.
I had to admire his composure. He not only figured out where I was going but also called me from a distance, not missing a single beat.
But, even without Damon, I needed to find a place to rest
Ben liked peace and quiet, living in a villa in the suburbs. So I still had to drive into town to find a place to sleep.
I didn't say much and just drove off
On the road, I discovered that Damon had actually fallen asleep in the passenger seat. He looked a bit vexed; even in sleep, his brows were slightly furrowed. Then a ringtone rang. It was coming from Damon's pocket. He was deeply asleep with no reaction.
