Ariel didn't move, she just patted her chest, as if she were calming herself down.
After a bit, she regained some color in her face and pulled out another thing from her bag, tossing it in front of me, "I'm not going to beat around the bush. Just sign this."
It was a document. I took a quick look and couldn't help but laugh, "Ariel, do you really think you can buy my family's company like this?"
Ariel sounded like she was looking out for me, "Eliana, given your family's current state, why are you still holding on? Why not let go of this burden? If anything happens to your company, it's going to affect your dad. He's already in a pickle; you can't let him suffer more, can you?"
"I don't need you meddling in my family's business. Ariel, do you really think it's worth turning yourself into what you are now for a man?" I shot back.
