I picked up the pace, practically dragging Jack along with me.
"Are you in such a hurry?" Jack thought I was itching to spend the night with him and asked with a smirk.
I stayed silent.
"Hold it right there" Damon Coleman barked coldly.
I ignored him and kept walking forward, but Jack was puzzled. He glanced back at Damon, a youthful arrogance on his face. "Who the hell do you think you're yelling at?"
Just as I thought, if a woman wanted some excitement, she should go for younger men. They were reckless and often cause headaches.
Damon's attention wasn't on Jack. He took a step forward, blocking my path.
Feeling his shadow over me, I looked up at him, pushing down a flicker of panic
"Mr. Coleman, can I help you?" I was all dolled up today, looking quite captivating
Perfect timing to run into him. I thought I might as well seize this opportunity to make Damon back off for good.
