Damon is not a dumb guy, theoretically, he should be pretty smart, so why does he become so silly when it comes to Ariel?
As far as I can see, there's only one explanation that makes sense to me, he's playing dumb on purpose
He told me he needed time to deal with Ariel, but he kept turning a blind eye I'm glad I didn't buy his story
