Their first date had gone quite well, but the weekend had ended, and they had to get back to work, there was a bit of an obvious change to Carter and Daniel's relationship.
They weren't really lovey-dovey at work, but Carter was more attentive than before, and he also didn't hide his feelings exactly, often the way he looked at Daniel would give away how he was feeling about the younger.
No one really said anything about it, but it was obvious to everyone, some found it a bit weird since Daniel was Carter's secretary, but there wasn't much they could say about it since it was clear Daniel wasn't really uncomfortable in the situation though newer employees who didn't know about Carter and Daniel's long-standing friendship thought that Daniel was trying to get closer to Carter for his money.
