After visiting the building with Benjamin, Daniel had a hard time processing everything he saw. Maybe in his mind, he was hoping that he was wrong the whole time that Benjamin was up to something illegal and that it was someone else who was behind it but seeing how suddenly Benjamin changed it seemed he was wrong in having hope that Benjamin wasn't like that… It was a bit disappointing.
"You can have the rest of the day off, we will drop you off," Benjamin said as they got out of the building, Daniel froze for a bit.
"It's fine, I will walk a bit - need some fresh air," Daniel said with a small smile, it was forced - so forced he just hoped that it didn't come across that way.
