Alisha glanced at her ringing phone, seeing that it was a call from Zeriel. She ignored it and continued watching the television. She had been waiting for Zeriel to contact her, and now that he finally did,however she had lost interest and wasn't in the mood to pick up.
She wanted to flex her pride allowing him to call multiple times before picking up,she didn't want to look desperate before him.
Alisha hoped for the call to repeat, but it wasn't forthcoming. With a disappointed look, she stood up and muttered to herself, "You're not yet serious,just a little snub and you've given up already " Feeling a bit famished, she headed to the kitchen to find something to eat. As she rummaged through the cupboards, she couldn't help but replay the events of the past few weeks in her mind.
