Stacy was relieved to have finished her shift for the day. She quickly changed into her comfortable clothes and made her way to her mother's ward.
As she entered the room, she found her mother sleeping soundly, a peaceful expression on her face. Stacy couldn't help but smile, grateful that her mother was finally okay and on the road to recovery.
Deciding to give her mother some uninterrupted rest, Stacy stepped outside the room to call her father. She needed to know how things were going with the company. "Dad, how are the company affairs?" she asked, concerned about the company.
"Don't worry, sweetie. Everything will be fine soon," her father replied, but his voice held a hint of sadness and discouragement. Stacy knew her father didn't want to burden her with the company's troubles, especially when her mother's health was still fragile.
"Dad, if there really is a problem, tell me. Maybe I can be of help," Stacy insisted, trying to convince her father that she was capable of handling the situation.
"Just focus on taking care of your mother. Leave the company to me, okay?" her father said, his voice filled with a mix of gratitude and determination. After bidding her goodnight, he ended the call, leaving Stacy with a sense of unease.
Meanwhile, in a luxurious hotel room, Jin lay on the bed with Yuan Yuan, his hand wrapped around her naked body under the sheets.
Yuan Yuan couldn't help but smile as she admired Jin's handsome features. He had a fair complexion and delicate skin, almost resembling that of a woman. If he were to wear a woman's dress, one could easily mistake him for a lady.
"You're the best, Jin," Yuan Yuan whispered, moving closer to him and cuddling into his embrace. Her head rested on his chest, and she listened to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, which felt like music to her ears. However, Jin's expression was far from content. He seemed lost in his thoughts, his face devoid of any emotion.
"When will you break your engagement with Stacy?" Yuan Yuan asked, her voice filled with anticipation. A small frown settled on Jin's face, but Yuan Yuan failed to notice it.
"You have to be patient with me, Yuan'er. I will break it off, I just need some time," Jin replied, his voice tinged with uncertainty. But Yuan Yuan sat up, her face contorted with anger.
"That's what you've been saying since she came back! It's been more than a week already. Don't tell me you're having a change of heart now that she's back,".
Yuan Yuan accused, suspicion evident in her eyes. Jin smiled at her and playfully flicked her forehead.
"Stop thinking about that and trust me," he said, sitting up and pulling her into his embrace. "Trust me, okay? I have got this. It is you I love." As he spoke those words, a strange feeling stirred in his chest, but he brushed it off, hoping it was nothing.
"Fine, I'll trust you. But I can't wait any longer. Oh, I remember something," Yuan Yuan said, suddenly pulling away from Jin's embrace.
"Stacy's friends from the States came to see her. One of them seems to be very fond of her, he is really cute and I think he has a crush on her." She said with a slight hint of jealousy in her tone.
Jin's fist clenched under the sheet, hidden from Yuan Yuan's gaze. A pang of pain shot through his heart, but he tried to hide his turmoil. Yuan Yuan sensed his sudden silence and concern.
"What's the problem, Jin?" she asked, looking into his eyes, searching for answers. Jin hesitated for a moment before replying, "Nothing, I'm fine." Deep down he felt conflicted with his emotions, he couldn't seem to grasp his feelings at the moment.
Yuan yuan sensed something was amiss with him, her jealousy flared and she said.
"Jin, I have an idea, one that will help you break off with her and also make her crush hate her" she said with a wolfish smile. " she can never get what she wants, never".
"What does this have to do with her crush, and what kind of thing are you planning?". He said looking at her, he knew she was not a nice girl, she had an evil side.
"Come let me tell you" she leaned closer and whispered into his ears, an evil smile flashed on her face, but Jin widened his eyes on what he had just heard.
