Fang and his companions rushed to check if Nyami was still alive. He had recently fallen onto a group of four houses now lying in ruins from the impact. They didn't even need to get close to see his body heaving.
He was alive for the moment but the Serpentines still stood supreme in the ongoing battle. Even now Serpentine and Hydrocrystal dragons could now be seen clashing in the skies.
It was the first time they saw the true nightmare of battle.
Where everybody was trying to strike each other down with killing intent whether for their leader or their loved ones living or dead.
All the other troops were too distracted to focus on Void who was about to come in for a fatal strike to end Nyami. Knowing they did not have the power to compete against her they quickly backed away from his body as they saw Tytira and Basil in their dragon form coming to assist him.
They tried their best to keep her at bay but were soon brought down to the ground with Void's talons gripping on their heads.
"We have to help them!" exclaimed Hydrax
"And how are we supposed to" barked Fang " if they got defeated what chance do we have"
"Simple, we will turn invisible get on her tail
and find a way to kill her."
"Not when we have a chance to reason with her."
"Void has already crossed the line" Neo retorted "even if she does call for surrender what makes you think she will get away unpunished."
While they were arguing they noticed Hydrax had already hidden beside a house planning how to take down this giant dragon.
"Fine we'll take her down , but if he attacks again then we will have to kill her."

They used the same tactic he had done on the crab and carefully climbed Void's swaying tail; what they were not prepared for was her to take flight. All three of them had to hold on to her main body while avoiding any blows from their allies.
With the air they relied on quickly thinning they had to rely on Hydrax to make the dangerous maneouvre to get near her neck.
Several clouds were below her and Hydrax exploited this and converted the gas into a long ice spear which she held in her right hand.
However it was not long before Void noticed them and tried to shake them off.
She even did sommersaults while flying through a storm cloud and they still held on for dear life. This made Hydrax completely disoriented and threw her spear out of desperation. Trying her best to keep focus she coordinated it towards her neck only to get vapourised by lightning.
Void smiled at her victory until fire curled her neck. Coughing from the burning on her neck she soon tried to dive into the water to finally get rid of them. Hydrax then manipulated the steam from her sweat to make her land on the bank instead of the river.
Void was shocked she was defeated so easily.
"Intriguing" said Void hoarsely "No one has ever beaten me since the All Dragon
"The spirit was right about you, Fang would make a good leader for the Pyronovas." she coughed
"Tell Nightfall, … my second in charge … take care of Pitch and maybe make us … finally accepted into society."
Her heaving came to a cease and before she died she set out a spark signaling the Serpentines to cease fire.
The battle of Luna River was now over and therefore the invasion of the capital Astral never came to be.
