Damian was talking to the mayor as they walked through the streets. Listening to the latter's report while showing him the improvements around made him think it was the best way to forget the lady's stony gaze when he left.
He started it and couldn't blame Calista for reacting that way. Damian admitted he was childish back there, but he didn't regret showing her what he felt the moment she showed an interest in someone else.
'I can't believe I was jealous of Donovan for a moment. He's my butler,' the duke thought and sighed.
"Is everything okay, your grace?"
Damian looked up to see the mayor worrying about him. He immediately shook his head and replied. "I'm fine. So, where are we?"
The mayor nodded and pointed at the building in front of them. "This is Lachacha, one of the most popular restaurants on the island. They serve delicious food and everyone here must have already visited this place at least once since it's opened."
