Calista raised a brow as she looked at the woman's eyes. She figured out nobody would allow them in a fancy restaurant wearing old and dirty clothes, so she wanted to book the whole restaurant, which interested her. Unfortunately, the owner wasn't thrilled when she said she could pay his price.
"Lola," Calista called her maid in a low voice. She was dumbfounded when the restaurant owner rejected her. Well, it never happened to her in the capital.
Lola stepped forward with a basket in her hands. She took something out of it and showed it to the restaurant owner. "We're going to pay double. The lady… My master wants to eat here and we're not going anywhere until she says so," the maid mumbled, throwing daggers at the woman in front of her.
