A sigh of relief escaped Damian's lips. He was glad Calista liked the place. When he found out she loved flowers, the secret garden came to mind.
Taking off his coat, he walked behind her and placed it over her shoulders. "It's cold out here. Let's go to the pavilion over there," he said, leading the way to the shelter several meters away.
Sitting next to the duke, gazing out at the vast garden filled with blooming blue roses, Calista was frozen in awe. Her lips slightly parted as she appreciated the lights in violaceous color, emitted from a huge crystal installed in the middle of the garden.
"What's that?" Calista asked, wondering what the crystal was for.
"I don't exactly know either," the duke replied. "It was already here when I first went to this place. I heard it's the garden's source of energy as sunlight couldn't reach this place," he explained.
