The Clan Head gave Hori a few hours to prepare himself to face the Endless Gauntlet Maze. After that, he was escorted by a few guards to the back of the main house.
Once again, Hori was stunned by the city. Although the front looked pretty ordinary and the house looked pretty much like the ordinary house that one would see on earth, the back of it couldn't be any more extraordinary.
The grass that grew on either side of the cement path in the front was no longer seen. They replaced by thin shards of crystalline objects protruding from the ground which had a faint raimbowy hue to it. It was like when an oily substance was poured on the ground, but here the rainbows were more of a thing of beauty rather than irritation.
The cement path was replaced by a marble road which led to a small altar and Hori's most likely destination, judging by the direction that the guards were taking him.
