Hori's mouth was agape when he saw his new stats. For the first time, he truly began to be scared of the system. He was in a certain death situation and with just some stupid promo, he advanced an entire rank.

He checked his spells and frowned slightly. A few moments later, realization dawned on his face. He remembered that in his book, while non elemental mages could easily learn spells created by other mages, elemental mages had to create spells by themselves.

This meant that the number of spells they have or how powerful the spells that they have are solely depends on the understanding of the mage towards mana control.

While most elemental mages would've managed to create a spell or two headed towards the Acolyte Rank, Hori had only been an elemental mage for a few hours hence in terms of the spell department, he had nothing to his name.
