Billy is focused on clearing up the goblin mob, so he doesn't know which goblin they mean.
Feeling curious, he points at a goblin corpse where Nex is walking towards it. "That one?"
Faust confirms his question, and Aurelia, sensing there is something more to the crystal, asks, "Why?"
Faust doesn't hide this information since it's necessary for the group.
He wants to test it, and having more will be better, so he explains his hypothesis that the crystal can give specific abilities depending on where it comes from.
Aurelia then understands that with healing abilities, their chances of survival will sharply rise.
Looking at the time, Aurelia decides to meet up with the others to vote on the purchase of the group item. She asks if they have any suggestions.
Faust suggests, "Go for the ammo cache and keep the rest."
Billy shakes his head, "I will just follow your decision."
Leslie adds, "Ammo is important. I almost ran out."
Billy responds, "I already ran out, but I can use the crossbow later."
Aurelia noted their needs and started moving to the other group.
As she meets the other representatives, to her surprise, Asura sends someone else - it's Circe.
So now Circe, Aurelia, Braxton, and the other one is a new Champion, Ash. His Imagin is the lightning chu.
At first, Lightning Chu still wanted Nex, but when he saw this man desperately trying hard to survive, he remembered Nex's reason for choosing Circe.
So far, Circe's performance had been very impressive, making Lightning Chu finally decide on him as his champion.
Utilizing his new electric powers, Ash did not disappoint; he succeeded in killing the boss.
Of course, he didn't know that Agony had weakened most of them by sending a part of itself and consuming them from the inside.
In fact, sometimes Agony cursed Ash's lightning ability as he rapidly unleashed his thunder, leaving Agony with leftovers.
But Ash was also very helpful to Agony; he was the reason Agony could easily maintain a low profile.
His ability was very distracting, like Christmas lights in the middle of the night.
Hence, Agony chose not to kill him.
Yes, Agony has tough about whether he should kill him or not at one point…
Then, the representatives began to discuss their needs.
Asura told Circe to vote for a weapons cache, while Braxton wanted to repair the defense, confident that he could fortify it even more.
Aurelia felt that neither option was better, so she suggested following Faust's advice to get an ammo cache and save the rest for defense.
This suggestion triggered Braxton.
"You mean my defense is not that good???" Braxton asked, his tone rising.
Aurelia tried to calm him, "That's not what I mean, but it's better if you focus on building the trap."
"You see how much of the horde is coming? How strong do you think the next wave will be?"
"What if 12 Orc heroes come out?"
But Ash, in an urgent tone, interjected, "We can deal with that in the next wave, but right now, my side really needs that healing."
"More than half are dying at this very second; the more we delay, the more we die."
Braxton gave him a questioning look, "You mean we should sacrifice the overall defense boost to rescue some useless people?"
Hearing Braxton's comment, Ash flipped.
He was angry that his comrades were called useless, even tough they just met. They had fought through life and death together.
The conversation between Ash and Braxton soon turned into a heated debate.
Ash didn't want to back down, as that would mean giving up on their lives.
As for Braxton, he saw it logically; in his mind, if they were almost dead in the last wave, what good would they do in the next?
They would likely be killed again!
Aurelia tried to calm them down, but she also didn't have a good solution for the situation.
Throughout all this, Faust watched from the camera, his thoughts racing for a solution.
He couldn't allow this conflict to continue, so he decided to send a message to Circe.
As Circe was listening to their debate, she received a message from "The One that Brings Hope."
Without hesitation, she acted. She pulled Ash to the side and forcefully halted the debate.
On the side, she made a deal with Ash: she would heal his comrade in exchange for him following her orders.
Ash quickly agreed, but he needed her to heal his comrade first. As Circe gave her word, Ash ran back to his side of the wall, giving his voting power to Circe.
With a three-to-one vote, the decision was soon made.
Braxton grumbled in protest, but there was nothing he could do about it.
Faust then stopped looking at the camera and turned his attention to Layla and Nex.
He moved closer and told them to have Leslie use the goblin healer crystal.
Nex, still worried about the experiment, asked for confirmation, "Are you really sure about this, Faust?"
Faust confidently asserted, "I am sure, Nex. Everyone has dormant mutant powers, and this is just a suggestion, but you should give the orc hero crystal to Billy."
"We need everyone to awaken their dormant mutant powers now."
Leslie, however, disagreed with this approach.
In her view, it was better for Faust to consume it.
Faust, though, didn't need it; he still had a crystal in stock inside Agony.
At this moment, he was considering giving one of them to Circe to make her a real mutant, as her current abilities come- from his blessing as Imagin.
The discussion moved back and forth until Faust finally decided to reveal that he, too, was a Mutant.
Leslie, in surprise, asked, "You're a mutant? Really?"
Nex also looked at Faust curiously. Faust then explained that his ability was to see one second into the future, which was why he was able to save them when the orc hero threw its shield.
Of course, Faust was lying through his teeth; he was able to do that simply because he was too strong.
If he were serious, he could have thrown a rock at the orc hero's head and finished it in one throw or just let Agony eat it whole.
