The bundle of bones was leading.
Armen and her men were right behind it.
They'd just crossed the border. If they were even late by an hour, the borders would have closed off. Armen thought having the massive skeleton would be a cause for concern at the border but her worries were ill-founded as the soldiers simply looked the other way due to her status as a holy knight. Besides, almost everyone knew that Sondar would soon declare war and that would help the warring triad tremendously so it was in their own interest to let Armen through.
But the men were tired, really so. Yet they had to hurry. After all, they were so close. So close to their destination.

They all knew they had to reach before morning. It was midnight right now and honestly, Armen knew stopping now meant this was the end of their journey tonight.
