Magic came in different forms.
The most widely used form was the 'just say the name and it'll work' form. However, there were various other forms. I didn't need to learn them till now. Actually, I could probably do without learning them at all.

The central school was the most popular and widely known one. There were other schools; deviant, forbidden, and chaos.
I didn't even know these things till I randomly, well- maybe not that random, stumbled onto the count's personal library and ended up learning new shit.
