I called a meeting.
The Count and the Countess were here. Vivia, Sylvia, Armen as well. They were the first to arrive. Next to arrive was the Paladin, some generals, and a guild rep. Actually, it wasn't just any guild rep, the guild master himself had come; the macho man.
"I thought we had a week, but we don't," I said. "Our enemies are gathering their forces at our borders as we speak. I'm sure some of you already know just how devastating their numbers are. And to make matters worse, Two Paladins have been dispatched." It really was a good thing I had eyes and ears across the continent. Although my network wasn't perfect or even fully functional, it still provided adequate early warning.
"Paladins can travel fast. I'm not sure who is coming, but more than likely one of them's Xarban. She's really fast. You can expect her to show up as soon as tomorrow morning."
"Since you can see them, can you describe how they look?" Armen asked.
