Busy streets.
Chatter spread like wildfire discussing several things: the lack of imports, soldiers running around throughout the night, disappearance of children, soaring prices, and such.
But above all that, the talks of war and chaos spread. There had been no official announcement from the lord, yet people already knew they were going to war. The troublesome atmosphere, the unease on the soldier's faces, and the rumors… they knew war was knocking at their door. And it was going to be a big war.
A war they might actually lose. Losing the war meant they could lose their family, their homes, everything. The more people talked, the more worried they got, and the more likely it became that riots would break out.
Yet, almost everyone was heading to the coliseum. The Count was hosting one of the biggest events of the decade. Or perhaps a fight of the century.
