I think these people got the idea that I was only after the scientist because I looked up his work back at the count's place.
They had spies nearly everywhere in the world and I'm sure they had spies in Tilk who monitored my movements. So, didn't that mean they already knew about me creating an amalgamation of their fallen comrades? Or were there different factions?
Come to think of it, I really didn't know much about this place at all. I'd never heard anything about their tech or magic or anything. No ships left their ports and-
Why haven't I seen magic ever since I came here?
I moved air in front of me just to try and I could use magic just fine. And my skills were also intact. But why weren't the people using magic? Because they didn't need magic?
Or they can't use it?
