I turned most of the soldiers into my slaves- 'not skeletons' -with some conditions. Namely, they'd be my workers for all the toy factories I was about to build nationwide.
I didn't make them my slaves like a full slave but it was mostly a name only slave contract with actual benefits. They'd be paid. They could go home once a month and spend some days with their families too.
Why slaves?
Well, I had to raise my slave mastery somehow. And this was the way to go. I still didn't know what the skill even did honestly. But I figured it probably had to do with control of some kind. Maybe I'd understand more about it as it leveled up.
With the addition of so many workers, work became more streamlined and our factories were really well protected. The city expanded a fair bit. The newly constructed buildings and roads looked a tad crude but in time they'd be built just like the city around them. And probably even better eventually.
