"Reward, right? You know, defeating a dark mage and a demonologist was quite difficult! I should be rewarded accordingly for the risk I took!" Evan said with a wide grin.
Alf smiled bitterly. He had no other choice, for that was why he had invited them here.
"Hah, are you both trying to engage in extortion? Well, there is no need, I remember my promise, and I will fulfill it. However, I thought I would be rewarding Halvor, and he's a mage, so for you, it won't suit the reward I prepared for him."
Then, Alf waved his hand and leaned back relaxedly on the back of the couch.
"Just tell me what you want. I can offer you just about anything: potions, some catalyst, an artifact, armor, or money. Within reason, of course. What you've done deserves a reward, but don't forget it's just my goodwill, after all, I could pretend that the affairs of the mountain range don't concern me." Alf smiled slightly, casting a sharp glance at Evan.
