Our main character Lucas was gazing out his living room window on a rainy summer day when his mother approached him.
Lucas had crimson and azure blue accents in his jet black hair. He stood about 43 inches (109cm) tall. He had distinct facial features with light brown eyes.
"Come on Luke, stop staring holes into the glass and come eat." She stated as she grabbed his arm.
"No! I don't want to!"
Lucas was experiencing one of his mood swings; he felt pessimistic and as though the world felt like it lacked both color and emotion. It usually only lasted a few minutes at most, but today was different. His head was pounding, and everything tasted slightly off.
The headache and mood swings suddenly started around 4 months ago with no signs of stopping.
His parents had frequently taken him to the doctor since they were worried about the health of their son. However, the doctor continued reassuring them that everything was fine and that it would pass eventually, but it never did. All his family could do was give him medicine and pray he got better because they couldn't afford one of those pricey mage physicians.
By the time Lucas stopped daydreaming, his mother had already dragged him into the dining room.
Lucas noticed his father and siblings were already seated on the marble dining table, waiting for him.
Lucas, their family's eldest child, was 4 years old. He had a brother and a sister who were identical twins and were both one year old.
Ray, his brother, stood about 27 inches (68 cm) tall and had blue accents in his jet black hair. He had icy eyes that looked like it could instantly freeze you with just a glance. His sister Mia was the complete opposite of him. She had light brown hair with crimson lowlights and stood around 25 inches (63 cm) tall. She had soft crimson eyes that would make you feel warm and fuzzy.
Lucas felt fuzzy during dinner. His head kept throbbing and all he wanted to do was sleep. He made himself finish everything on his plate before leaping off the chair and dashing straight through a long corridor into his bedroom.
A twin bed was located in the left corner of his 100 square foot bedroom. On the side of the bed, he had a small drawer. Directly across from the bed was a closet that held some of his clothes and toys.
Luke jumped onto his bed and as soon as his head struck the pillow, he passed out.

Lucas woke up to the sound of screams. He jumped out of bed, opened his door, and crept carefully down the corridor. His heart was beating so loud he could hear it in his ear. The creaks of the floorboards made everything feel like it was straight out of a horror movie.
On the other side of the corridor he could see Ray on his knees bawling his eyes out. Mia was passed out on the floor beside Ray.
Lucas's headache was worse than it had ever been. His heart felt like it might burst out of his chest.
Lucas slowly turned the corner. His heart sank. A man wearing a red mask with a red gem in place of his left eye was standing over his father, who was sprawled out on the ground and surrounded by a pool of blood. On the forehead of the mask, there was a glowing purple gem embedded.
The man had a glowing knife in his right hand, he was covered in blood. His left hand was holding what appeared to be an amputated hand with blood trickling from the wrist.
Luke's mother was lying across from his father, with her clothes torn up and her right wrist missing.
Luke slowly approached the corpses of his parents, then he fell to his knees and started sobbing.
"Well look at that! the final rat has come to me! Looks like I'll be having a Family meal tonight!" the man yelled. He sounded like he was in his late forties, but Luke didn't care.
"M-mom!, Dad!" he screamed, it was starting to get hard to breathe. He then turned to the man and said
"YOU! YOU DID THIS!" The ground began to tremble, clouds began to form directly above the house. Lucas's eyes started glowing orange. His pupil turned into a slit. Lightning began to emanate from his body.
"I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" Right after saying that, he was struck by lightning. Lucas was suddenly surrounded by a blue aura.
The man began to scream. His knees began to feel weak and eventually gave up. He felt a warm stream go flow around him. He was surrounded by a puddle of urine
Lucas took a step forward. causing an earthquake of a Richter scale magnitude of 4.0. The ground quakes grew stronger with each step Lucas made, reaching a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale as he took his final stride toward the man.
"S-SPARE ME! PLEASE!" the man yelled while trying to back up.
At this point, Lucas' pupil was practically as narrow as a line. Just as he was going to hit the man, a mysterious dark figure materialized. The masked man was taken by the Figure before vanishing.
Before Lucas could take action, he began to feel lightheaded. He turned over to his siblings. Ray had pissed his pants before passing out. Lucas attempted to take a step forward but as soon as he did he collapsed.
His aura gradually started to fade until it was just a tenth of what it had been. The police and paramedics showing up was the last thing he saw before passing out.
