Chapter 34 - Chapter 34 – How to Wall Run [1]

'You're sending this for real?' He asked through his gaze and muted his microphone.

Flexy only smiled and responded after muting his microphone.

"Take it as your appearance fee. I planned to send more, but you asked for too little, so I will transfer the rest through your bank. I already got more than that from the donation. Also, do you mind if I upload this edited stream to PunchTube?"

50,000 diamonds was equal to $1,000. It was by no means a small amount of money. To spend something like this for an appearance fee that also helped him was… simply ridiculous.

Also…

'How much did he get from his donations? His viewers are fewer than other streamers, but they seem really wealthy. Enough to get more than 50,000 diamonds in less than an hour. My quest is finished with just this one donation…'

Thanks to this donation, his quest from the system was finished immediately. But he didn't get a notification yet because he was in the game. Just like before, he guessed the notification would only pop in front of him once he entered the Lobby or exited the VR capsule.

"Thanks, Flexy… This will help me a lot. Also, I don't mind if you upload it."

"No need to mention it. Ah, I will put your link in the description too, hahaha. We are already pals, no?" Flexy smiled and unmuted his microphone, continuing the stream. "Teacher Breeze, teach us!"

— Teacher Breeze!

— Teach us!

— Breeze be like: How to be a breeze.

Max once again put on a smile. He couldn't let that money bother him and ruin the stream and excitement.

"Very well! I will teach you how to do a wall run. Hahaha, it's natural for me to teach my friend!"

— Lies

— You only teach him for his money

— Money-lover Breeze! Profit number one!

"I am not a money-lover, guys. I just love money."

— That's what those words mean…

— Oh no, our Breeze has become a dum dum!

— Meh, he probably is just acting

— ^^ You don't know… He changes his mind as fast as I spend money after getting paid! In a flash, I said!

— Anyway, it's the wall run tutorial we are waiting for guys! We can finally listen to his detailed explanation!

— Yeah! 50,000 diamonds well spent! I don't feel bad at all!

— Because that's not our money.

The viewers looked excited and looked forward to it.

And the stream reached its peak. Many new viewers joined, most of them either because they were moving from Flexy's stream or the post in the thread that became a viral talk among Knight's Journey players.

FreakingNoob was the thread starter. And he actually made a bold title.

[Get over here! God Breeze is teaching us how to run on the wall!]

Truly, this person really knew how to elevate someone from a noob to a god in just 3 days.

Max and Flexy changed spots. The current waiting room was not suitable for learning wall runs as it had no wall, so Flexy changed it to an indoor training room through customization.

Of course, this customization could only be bought through an item mall using real money. It was a perk given to a whale or someone who loved to custom and change something from the original. By the way, Flexy's golden armor was also bought in a similar way.

Max already knew about it but was uninterested, as what he enjoyed was the game, not the customization. Not to mention, he would rather buy a new game as it cost more than $500 rather than spend it on cosmetics, at least until he had more money.

'This guy is really rich.' Max thought as he stretched his hands and legs in preparation. 'We could've done it in the Lobby, but he chose to do it in the game because it's part of the content.'

He didn't wear armor anymore and was only in a long-sleeved turtleneck shirt and long black pants, so he felt really light.

Flexy still customized the waiting room and added walls with various inclinations. He had an excited look on his face as he licked his lips, moving his fingers skillfully to change where the walls were located.

The first one was a rather flat surface with a 90-degree inclination. Then there was one with 75, 69, 55, and then lastly, 45-degree.

Max could understand giving them levels, but why would he make one of them inclined 69-degree and not 70?

'Is that number also nice in this world?' He thought as he checked the chat.

— Nice

— Man of culture

— Nice

Unexpectedly, they understood what that meant, and the chat was filled with 'nice.' He couldn't help but smile bitterly as he finished his warm-up.

At the same time, Flexy was finished and nodded in satisfaction. All the walls had their inclination written on them.

"This is good." He then turned to Max. "Teacher Breeze! I am ready!"

The way he called Max still sounded strange in his ear. He preferred when Flexy didn't add a teacher and just called him casually.

"Alright then. Shall I give an example first?" Max asked while holding his shoulder and rotating his arm, loosening the joints.

"Ooh! Of course. It would be nice if I could see how you do it directly and not through the screen. Maybe you should change your camera to 1st PoV so the viewers can see what you see."

"That's a good idea."

Flexy's suggestion was good, and the viewers seemed to agree. If they could see through the 1st PoV, they might be able to see how to do it.

Max quickly changed the camera angle, and the small camera in the air disappeared. His eyes had become the new camera, and what he saw was broadcast to the streaming screen in real-time.

"Is this fine?" He asked his viewers, still unsure whether it worked or not.

— We can see it

— I almost forgot Breeze is a newbie streamer again… This question woke me up

— Yeah! It's perfect!

"Great." Max smiled and nodded. He walked toward the wall with a 90-degree inclination without hesitation while giving out a warning. "Be careful, alright? I recommend those who can't withstand a sudden and fast movement to watch through Flexy's stream."

He couldn't really force or stop people from watching, but at least he knew that some people probably had a condition where they couldn't handle such a sudden movement. In fact, some viewers left after leaving a message they would watch from Flexy's PoV instead.

That was fine. There were still more than 1,200 viewers who stayed to watch him directly. He also didn't mind disclosing his technique to wall run because it was common knowledge back in his world.

Sooner or later, people who could imitate him would appear. That was why he was grateful for this opportunity. He actually could use it to make a name for himself.

'Well, well, I should really thank Flexy for this.' His smile widened as he looked forward, concentrating.
