Max landed beside the large barbarian's body. He took the corpse's two axes tightly in his hands and faced the incoming barbarian with a courageous smile.
There was no need to be afraid in a game.
"My axes crave for blood!"
He ran toward the incoming barbarians' army even faster than before. Due to the room condition, there were many obstacles that hindered them. That created a perfect barricade he could use to fight them one by one.
"Kill him!"
"Murder him!"
"Chop him!"
They roared in anger as Max came toward them.
Lowering his stance, Max first dealt with the two barbarians in front. His axes easily cut them through in half. The quality of the new axes he got was better than the last.
"Sweet!" He grinned.
It seemed obvious that he would lose. But everyone's expectation was turned when Max easily dodged the incoming attack. He jumped, swinging his axe. Another barbarian died with that, and he used the corpse to propel himself to the side.
— It's like watching a movie.
— This guy's movement is crazy!
— Once again, he's a newbie… Though it didn't appear like that, he's a newbie who only played Knight's Journey today!
Max didn't stop there.
Using the wall as if it were the ground, he pounced toward the other barbarian and beheaded him. His movement was fluid, like water, and his feet were moving in a blur. No attacks reached him as he moved even more versatile than a monkey.
One swing from the axe was the only thing needed to deal with each barbarian. Their large, bulky body couldn't move as fast as Max's lean but flexible one.
Not to mention, they weren't really trained or ever fought in a terrain covered in fire and against a person who could do wall run.
"Stop moving around like a monke–"
Swoosh!
Max felt like he heard something he didn't like, so he instinctively threw an axe toward the barbarian's direction and beheaded him.
Only four barbarians were left, and they realized that they were fighting a monster in human skin.
"Attack him at once!" One of them commanded, and the others followed suit. This time, they used a tactic and came from different directions rather than rushing toward him like before.
"For a barbarian, it's surprising they use such a tactic!"
— They are only barbarians in name!
— I think they just imitate the knights.
— Rather than that, explain how you can run on the wall!
— Yeah, wall running is cheating!
Reading the viewers' reaction, Max couldn't help but laugh. "Hahaha. Haven't you guys heard this phrase before? There is nothing unfair in love and war!"
He gripped the axe tightly in his right hand as he grabbed on a hanging rope with his left hand. Using it, he jumped into the air as the barbarians swung their weapons.
Clash! Crash!
"Aarrgh!"
"My hands!!"
The barbarians who had never worked together before hit each other, leaving deep wounds in each other's bodies.
What Max needed to do was to finish them off. He let the gravity pull him down and spun his body with his hand stretched out, swinging the axe.
"Three-sixty spin axe swing!" He jokingly exclaimed as he beheaded the four remaining barbarians at once.
Thud thud!
Their bodies fell one by one as Max landed.
— What a show off!
— Three-sixty spin axe swing! This guy is showing off!
— Breeze! Tutorial! We deserve a tutorial!
— Damn bastard! Not only a wall run but three-sixty too!
— Admin! It's this guy! He's cheating!
Max smiled at the viewer's reaction.
"Hey hey, I am not cheating." He defended himself. "Anyway, where is my new weapon? Anyone see it?"
He looked around the fire-filled room. It was hard to see because the smoke had accumulated too much.
— It's there, near the largest guy body.
— On your right!
Thankfully, the viewers were able to see it from the camera and remembered where he threw it. Looking at the direction pointed by the viewer, he finally found what he was looking for and took it.
"There you are, my second axe." He commented. "Now I need to get out of this place. The remaining barbarians should've died from the smoke or run out soon."
— Yeah, right.
— So you won't try to find them?
— Spoken like a true knight. Not that I know how a true knight speaks lol!
"There is no need to find them. Let the rats die in this Ratcor Ner cave."
Max slung one axe over his shoulder and secured another one on his waist.
Afterward, he traced back his way to the exit. He had heard a loud banging from the wooden door behind him but chose to ignore it and let it burn. The other exit didn't exist like what he initially expected, after all.
Everyone who wanted to leave must go the same path as him. Besides…
[Last Tutorial!]
[Scout for the barbarian army in the west of Ratsack City! They are hiding around Ratcor Ner mountains.]
[Progress: 12/12 Barbarians found]
The mission was finished. It seemed like finding a corpse and hearing the voice of the locked barbarian also counted as finding them.
"We did it!" Max said with a big smile as he stepped out of the cave, pumping his fist to the hovering camera. "That was easy."
— What an absurd way to finish it.
— Corpses are barbarians. Found is found!
— There was nothing wrong with his way.
— Blood! I am satisfied!
— New axes… how scary.
— Rather, teach us how to do wall run!
New reactions sprung one after another. Mostly, they asked about how he could do a wall run and talked about how well he fought.
Max liked the reaction and the lack of the word 'blood' in the chat.
Reading the chat was fun, but something caught Max's attention as he planned to return to the knight barrack. It was the stream notification that he had finished the mission and could take the reward.
He claimed the reward by clicking the hovering button, and the stream notification popped up.
[Mission completed!]
[5,000 diamonds have been donated!]
"Oooh! Thank you for the 5,000 diamonds! I really appreciate it." Max's tone was filled with happiness as the stream mission was completed.
— Look at this guy.
— He's happier getting money instead of completing the quest without a scratch…
— The fact that he was happier from this made me mad… But he's so good!
[Maddening has donated 300 diamonds!]
[Breeze! How did you do the wall run?! Tell us!]
