"You stay alive, damnit," she hissed, her eyes locking onto his with a fierce determination. "I swear I'll find you."
Ty stared up at her, his lips trembling as a faint smile broke through his pain. "You're as beautiful as the day I met you, ya know," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
Her expression softened for a brief moment, but before she could respond, the light around her flared, and she vanished just as suddenly as she had appeared. The void collapsed in on itself, and Ty was pulled back into the harsh reality of the battlefield.
