Ty's eyes widened, his pulse quickening, a mix of fear and confusion washing over him. "W-what the hell is going on?" he managed, his voice cracking, his body tensing as she leaned over him, her presence overwhelming, her scent intoxicating.
The goddess placed a finger on her cheek, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "A demon, you say?" she murmured, her voice carrying a hint of disbelief. "You know, demons were supposed to have died out ages ago—a failed project, or so I've heard." She traced a finger along the edge of the bed, her gaze never leaving his. "Though, I do remember a few of them ascending... but that was such a long time ago."
Ty struggled against the bindings, the energy crackling against his skin, his breath coming in ragged gasps. "No, really, look," he said, fighting against the restraints, managing to summon a small flicker of black flame, letting it swirl around his body. He clenched his jaw, the effort evident on his face.
