"We're taking on water! We're sinking! The ship is going down!"
At the heard of the crying , Marigold hurriedly proceeded to the forward cabin to assess the situation, but before she could enter, the resounding roar of helicopter propellers descended upon her from above. They landed on a small helipad on the deck. Since it's a super big ship, it's no wonder that there was an airport for a helicopter.
Marigold quickly climbed to the closest point where Ethan, accompanied by Count Byron, had boarded the helicopter. Also on board, barely conscious and covered in blood, was Brian. Upon seeing him, Marigold's heart leaped to her throat.
Fortunately, he was placed on a stretcher, connected to a respirator, and his injuries had been rudimentarily bandaged—though it appeared that someone had replaced the parts she had wrapped.
It seemed Ethan still cared for their familial bond. However, she wondered how much the elderly Count Byron knew about Ethan's actions.
