Claire with a little more force to her voice along with her powers of being able to control sound called out to Rein informing her to stay calm and follow the plan which Sonia and Holly had just come up with.
"Stay calm and just do it "Holly said grabbing Sonia instead since she had used her body transformation powers.
Rein did as she was told and sure enough both her and the three were coming close to each other with the only difference being that she was pulled faster to them, than they were pulled towards her.
" It's working, it's working guys", Claire said excitedly as her clear eye became watery. As soon as Rein was closer to them, they immediately interlock their arms with hers acting as a support and guide until they were near a safe height.
"Thank you, all of you . I really thought I was going to die for real this time" filled with emotions of gratitude Rein could only say words appreciation, what was weird was that unlike how many would be in tears about not having any hope before being saved, all she showed was gratitude and deep fear in her eyes never like before.
Ryan and skara at the side lines just watched the girls bond closer not able to say anything. Ryan especially since he had come close to losing a sister twice in a month in a very awful way.
"It's good she's safe" he sighed silently starring at the horizon .
As they got closer to the ground, they came in sight of mountains and green hills along with the beauty of many house settings in the area. Unlike how a map gave a vivid representation of an area. This time it was like seeing it in visuals.
The mountains so high had clouds hovering round with whilst a trees that grew on it could be seen. There also was the sight of many fields and farm houses properly built in between houses and factories around.
The road setting was even more amazing since it was wide narrow and also strictly neat with it branching into different corners of the whole area. There was also sight of wind turbine fields making it seem like a 19th century city with the exception of modernized home and garden architecture.
" Time for landing boys. Just don't make too much cracks on the field" crook voice once again came into audibility.
" You know it would be nice if we could still stay in the air like this and enjoy the view a little more time" Holly smiled looking at the scenery in front of her.
" I thought you had been through this training before " Sonia win a confused tone asked .
Claire and Rein also looked at her for clarity behind her words.
" Yeah, but not in places with nice views like this. The previous training would always be in the middle of crowded City which very much sickens me. I kind of developed air flight sickness because of that"
"Haha,tell me about it, you lucky tho. We had our last training near abandoned railroads and rail station not much of anything sky diving. We just jumped off a helicopter on to roofs" Sonia sighed. This was also her first experience sky diving from such a distance in an unconventional way.
" Heheheh, well this is my second time sky diving" Claire feeling proud laughed.
"Huh" they all chorused.
" When did you ever go sky diving " Rein asked trying to even remember if there was ever a time Claire went on a sky dive.
" Yeah you and Klaus pretty much didn't know since you guys back out on the trip"
"When was tha_, oh right I see so it was four years ago" Rein with sudden realization looked at Claire.
" Ryan feel asleep throughout the trip so he knows nothing. Anyways this view is far better than the one from my first time. But just heads, up knees weak " she smiled looking towards the ground they were fast approaching. Vincent,yunlin and Oscar had already landed, taking off the chute bag from their back while crook was nowhere to be seen.
" Hick, I don't know if it's too late but how are we supposed to be when we want to land. And what's knees weak" in teary voice skara asked .
"Ah just push your legs forward a little bit and hold tight to the chute. And knees weak, that you would find out later " Claire answered.
" Damn she's good" Holly complimented
"Yeah she is" Sonia and Rein nodded in agreement to what Holly said.
They all landed steadily even though some of them caused crack to appear on the ground but that wasn't the main issue, the later who landed except for Claire all ended up wretching to the ground, weak and unable to feel their legs.
"Yeah that's knees weak" she said with a harmless smile hanging on her face.
