Scarlet also arrived at the emergency exit but Klaus had left with Luke heading towards the direction of their truck. On his way he encountered Dicoviche whose hand had a gun and some bruises on his face.
"Damn it I'm shot" yunli said groaning.
"Which direction did he go towards" Vincent asked making his way through the crowd gathered outside the building.
"I don't know...that nuisance shot me with a special bullet, am on my way to our truck " Sonia responded
" No need to worry he's right in front of me " Klaus cut in the conversation " Vincent come south, we are a bit far from the truck but we're in truck line of sight"
"Okay . I'll be there "
"Klaus..." Scarlet shouted seeing him having Luke in his hands while facing Dicoviche.
"Shot"
A bullet flew past Klaus hitting scarlet left leg. She slumped down ti the ground looking towards where she had been shot.
"Bastard" Klaus enraged kicked Dicoviche's chest disarming him of the gun while letting him cough out violent, his lungs apparently felt the huge impact of the kick. He dropped down on his knees crouching down in pain unable to concentrate on anything else except the pain.
Klaus rushed towards scarlet hold her by the arms not knowing what to do. His plans became sweaty as is eyes constricted see the gun shot wound
In Klaus group, there was a rule that usage of special abilities in front of outsiders be it family or friends who knew nothing of their abilities was prohibited but at the present situation Klaus forego such things known as rules since in his own thoughts this was a result of his own negligence of not being careful. Klaus place his two fingers on the bullet then some unexpected happened, the bullet decayed instantly while the flesh tissue around the bullet remain unaffected. During this time scarlet woke up from her half conscious state just to witness this miracle, she felt weird as a result of her mission which was to capture superhumans who were not with the government without hesitation but now Klaus whom she had known in the past was now a person with super abilities.
A groaning sound of someone in pain came into their hearing. Dicoviche who had been kicked away by Klaus was already with a knife in hand ready to throw it at Klaus
"You bastard, die!!!"
He said , but before he could make his move, Scarlet brought out her pistol revolver and shot him in the head rendering him vulnerable to the grasp of death.
The turn out of the was something that non of the two teams had anticipated. Their initial plan was to carry on the operating with minimum trouble but now it was with much damage.
Klaus at the moment was now calm since the threat was now eliminated but he was still bothered about the bullet wound which seemed like the bullet area was punctured with thorns around the bullet. And just when he was about to continue examine the wound, a voice came from his ear phones interrupting him.
"Klaus we have got to go"
While a portal open with Vincent appearing grabbing Luke and when he was about to go his eyes met with scarlet and Klaus eyes made him scared out of his wits. Klaus knocked scarlet out gently placing her on the ground before following after Vincent through the portal he open to a secluded area where the car had been driven to by Sonia, he threw Luke into the secluded area of the van. Meanwhile yunli was at the back sit clutching her gun wound. Black veins appeared at the area around the wound while her body temperature continued to rise.
" You guys hurry, the pain is unbearable" she with all strength she could muster to speak said in her Chinese ascent.
Klaus entered the van with Vincent and started examining the injury. The injury was of the same bullet but scarlet own seemed to have a very slow reactivity compared to yunli reaction. The wound kept on churning aloud.
"Let's hope this works" he said gently placing his palm on the wound, the momentum he did this his ability began to react as it began slowing the movement of the churning sound and even the skin around the bullet in the wound began to die off while reproducing a new skin tissue noticing this he removed his hands from the wound breathing heavily.
Sonia and Vincent looked at him in awe and shock. This could be said to be the first time Klaus would display such ability since he was always know to have four times the enhanced version on an agile and healthy human being be it in strength, speed , perception, thinking and even vision.
" How did you do that " Vincent asked whole Sonia also look at him waiting for his answer
"Just drive, the situation of the wound was just slowed down. I'll explain the rest later" Klaus said gently resting his back against his sit with his eyes closed.
After Klaus and Vincent had left through the portal, scarlet who had been knocked out woke up , she sat up examining her environment and her current state at the same time, apart from her there was issa and Lucy who had the pulp beaten Clovis in her hands. She looked at the gun wound at her leg and found out that it churning effect from the bullet had been stopped
"So he is an ability user huh, and was that Vincent who open a gap to another place there" scarlet murmured while she brought out a liquid substance adding it in drops to the wound " seems like the healing would take a lot of time" she scoffed.
Back to the present
Klaus who had opened his eyes was still lost in the present situation. Even when he had tried to use his decay power, his cells were rapidly slowing down it activity and his nervous system was seeming to refuse to send about any message to either part of his body.
"So you were the one who was caught huh. Never imagined that your whooe family were ability users, on thing though, what did you do with Luke?" without beating round the bush scarlet asked away.
