Chereads / The Legend of Rosé Book 1: Princess Leta / Chapter 8 - I've Been Waiting

Chapter 8 - I've Been Waiting

Year 3416.

The princess was now 17 years old, standing at 5'4", and with an amazing H-cup. Leta entered the bar, head down.

She gulped a cup of beer, paid ten copper coins, and left.

Leta Astarte Igvar de Rosé was not a princess anymore. As much as it hurt her pride, she had a job to do; the beer was always a good idea to put her in the right mood.

"Fffuu~ let's get it over."

She went into a motel room.

A fat old man was sitting on the bed, stroking his 9-inch cock.

"Oh, there you are, little Rose♡" he greeted her while moving his hand up and down on that throbbing, hard thing.

It was the biggest she had seen yet.

"...!" her eyes glued to it.

The man stood up, towering over her with a 6'4", his raging boner pressing against her belly.

"Stroke it for me, whore." he said in a commanding tone that sent shivers down her spine and made her heart race twice as fast.

She reached for it without uttering a word. 'Rose' moved her small hands around the old man's shaft, making him breathe a little harder.

"Yeah... You're doing great."

Without waiting for his approval, 'Rose' bent forward without doubling her knees and sucked on his member.

"Mmm... *sluuuurp*!! Mhm!"

"Fuck, Rose I can't last much if you suck me off *that* hard!"

The old man let out a huge load, thrusting his hips forward, forcing the girl to deepthroat him.

"Mmmph!" she swallowed until the last drop and opened her mouth to prove it, sticking her tongue out.

"Fuuuck! This was THE best fellatio ever, Rose!" the old man reached to the drawer next to him and handed three golden coins to 'Rose'.

"I'm glad you enjoyed my services, sir." she bowed politely, with a cute, drunk smile on her face.

And then she left first, washing her mouth in the staff bathroom on the first floor.

(Nothing like another good client served. That makes four this month, or twelve golden coins. In this rhythm, I'll buy my own house and make a pension in just one or two years. Maybe I should invest that money and create an academy for wizards, I bet Irene would be a great help in teaching.)

"Fuck, I'm all sweaty. I need a shower now."

Leta walked into the nearest alleyway.

As she did so, Leta de Rosé could sense her life in danger with the Sixth Sense.

"Guh-hk!?" Leta dived sidewards, evading a laser beam by a hair mile.

She rolled a few meters and stopped behind a huge pile of trash from a restaurant.

(What was that?! Light magic??)

The girl peeked outside.

Visually, it wasn't possible to see who was shooting from afar. They probably already changed covers.

But she didn't have to trust in her vision.

"..." Leta de Rosé focused on the thoughts.

And she could hear.

'Oh, fuck. Missed a shot. Hope the Cap'an don't steal mah kill~' it was the thoughts of a woman.

'What a waste. That target is really cute.' Thought a flamboyant one.

'Should I shoot her with the hand blaster for a more fun experience or the rifle for effectivity?' That one looked dumb.

'Impressive. That girl is just 17 and already is capable of dodging a blaster shot with the use of Sixth Sense? She's no easy target for sure.' That one took her attention, just a little.

(Those four are the only ones with thoughts I can read that are focused on me. But maybe they have more comrades out of my mind-reading fifty-meter range.) she thought.

"I've been waiting for this. No fucking way I'm going to run away." Leta psyched herself up. "I'll take them by surprise."

Leta de Rosé quickly ran deeper into the alleyway. From her mind-reading technique, she could tell that they were about forty meters away. And they were already moving, based on her actions.

They weren't capable of mind-reading, so they were thinking that she was trying to escape. Because of that, the attackers started approaching.

Once they were about thirty meters, the group started shooting again. But Leta was able to dodge everything with her mind-reading power and Sixth Sense; sometimes hiding behind a wall, going into a house, etc.

Then she went underground, in a passage that led to a city outside of Astarte; there was also a bridge a few kilometers to the north, but only Adventurers or knights used it because of the animals.

It was like a big, dark tunnel.

(Either way, they'll be forced to follow me over here. I'll back myself in a dead end, and then strike them down right on the spot.)

Leta was still hearing their thoughts, which meant they were in her range, but nothing interesting. They didn't appear to realize she could read their minds.

Astarte Igvar de Rosé went deeper into the underground pathway, and stood ready, with a hand at the waist.

Just a few minutes later, the squad passed by the girl hidden in the shadows.

They were just four in total, as she expected. But it was still possible they'd have a backup team. Those four were probably the assault troops.

(I better take them down right now!!)

She quickly took the metal, tube-like weapon from the holster at her waist; *VROOM*.

A red light glowed in the dark area of the tunnel.

The woman's shoulder jumped, startled by the glowing red blade, but quickly regained her posture and aimed at the girl.

She was the closest target.

Rosé attacked, the red lightsaber moving in a circular motion.

She was aiming for the woman's chest but missed and sliced her weapon, which looked like some sort of sword but wasn't quite it since it fired some beams of light.

(Fuck!) Leta cursed in her heart.

The other three started shooting at the same time, while the woman stepped back.

During that moment, time seemed to stop for her.

They were firing beams of light. It was made of the same thing as her lightsaber?

Either way, she couldn't be hit by those. Or she would surely die.

But Sixth Sense could only do so much. She wouldn't be able to dodge the rain of light beams fired at her; even if she somehow managed to predict where she'd get shot, her body simply was not fast enough.

Even so, Leta Astarte Igvar de Rosé didn't give up. She still wanted to fight.

There was only one thing that could save her at that moment when time seemed to stop.

(...!! It's not stopped!)

She finally noticed.

It wasn't that time stopped. Rather than that, everything was in slow motion.

The beams, the soldiers, even the spider jumping the fly on a corner.

Everything slowed down significantly.

"Wow..." Leta was mesmerized.

Just by stepping away, she dodged the light beams flying at her.

And the soldiers seemed to take an eternity to react to it.

The girl tightened her grip on the lightsaber, holding it above the shoulder with both hands.

"..."

But just before she could slice the first target in half...

She lowered the lightsaber. And turned it off.

Leta Astarte Igvar de Rosé remembered the people from her castle. Her maid. Her mother and father.

It almost made her puke, remembering all the gore scenery she saw that day, 5 years ago.

The girl ran away, time moving so slowly she could sleep.

She ran back to Irene's house, it would be safe there.

And time started moving again.

"Kh!!?"

The girl fell, holding her chest tightly.

(Wh... what is... happening with me??!!!)
