Year 3411 A.C, Kingdom Rosé, in the nation of Fiore¹.
The 12 years old girl walked through the immense hallways of the massive castle, shiny castle. Passing by a few servants that bowed to her.
She had a short stacked frame. Her chest easily an B-cup, her eyes a vivid color of pink, just like her twintails hair. Wearing a pompous dark-blue dress, filled with white ornaments and a diamond tiara on her head, and a chain of jewels around her neck, the girl had an excited expression.
The 12 years old, whose name is Leta Astarte Igvar de Rosé IV.
She was the sole daughter of King Rafael "Das Cem Guerras"² and Queen Leta Astarte Igvar de Rosé III.
Princess Leta's bowed her head politely to the kingdom's general, Sir Dile; a man in shining metal plate armor, carrying a sword twice his size on his shoulder.
He always scared Leta, he was almost as big as a bear, and he was the only one with courage to scold the princess, with exception of the king and the queen.
"Don't run in a dress, Princess Leta." Sir Dile's voice sounded like a boom, he seemed mildly tired and annoyed.
Leta looked away. "Sorry... I will be careful."
"... are you looking for the King, Princess?"
"Yes! I want to show my tiara! Look, Sir Dile, my mom's servant helped me choose it." She sounded pretty happy about it, and that managed to get a chuckle from the big guy.
But he soon recovered. Sir Dile cleared his throat: "Princess, unfortunately, that will need to wait. Your Majesty the King is in the throne room in an important meeting with the leaders of the Kingdom of Ciliegia³.
The princess raised an eyebrow slightly, but didn't bother the general in the matter. "Ah, okay. I understand."
"Excuse me, your Highness." Sir Dile bowed his head before passing by the princess, not showing any interest in continuing the conversation.
"..."
The girl's curiosity on the other hand, was picked.
Leta went straight to the throne room, but stopped on the hallway. The big wooden door was blocked by two knights.
She went back to her room.
"Where is it, where is it... This, this and this... I'll need this here too."
She collected a few items; a bear plushie, dust from the walls, cobwebs and strawberry flavored lipstick.
"I need to order it clockwise... The powder goes at 12 o'clock, the spider web at 8 o'clock, the lipstick at 4 o'clock and the teddy bear goes in the middle."
Using the teddy bear as a representation of herself, the princess recited a brief song in her mind.
And then, she got up and ran towards the throne room.
She stopped in front of the two knights, who didn't even react.
(Hehe... it worked just fine.)
What she did was a Suggestion Magic, known as "Apresentação Zerada"⁴. With it, she could induce others to completely ignore her presence. It was as if she stopped existing.
Leta nonchalantly opened the door of the throne room and stood nearby the entrance, just in case, paying attention to what was being said.
Apparently she got in the middle of a important discussion.
Her father, the King, spoke in annoyance: "How many times do I have to repeat myself, Coblepot? There is no need to start a war between nations, just over territory. The nation of Fiore is already one of the four largest, and we have everything we need in our respective kingdoms."
Coblepot, King of Ciliegia, who seemingly had lots of respect for King Rafael, spoke with much less contempt: "My liege, i respect your wisdom... i truly do. But we cannot let our guard down, I say we must invade and carry out a Blitzkrieg attack after gathering forces from the most powerful kingdoms in Fiore. Spies in the nations of Blume⁵ and Flor⁶ have been silent for over a month." He sighed. "I can't help but worry that we are going face a disaster in a short time."
Leta's father waved his hand. "Enough. All I am hearing is that we are invading our brothers and sisters lands and threatening them for nothing. Leave my kingdom now, Coblepot. If you have any reason to start a world war, other than your missing spies, I will listen to you."
Coblepot clenched his fist slightly, but didn't say another word. He bowed his head down and ordered his guards and counselors to follow him out.
The only ones on the throne room were the king himself, Leta (invisible to everyone), the king's right-hand man, a young man by the name of Specs and a few other nobles of high rank that were summoned to the meeting with the King of Ciliegia.
"You should practice your Zero Presentation, Leta."
"... uhg! You noticed me, Papa?!" Leta jumped back.
The King chuckled, just like the the other nobles present.
"Of course. I fought many magis in my life. Even though you can hide your 'existence', one's body does not stop emanating the magic that keeps you invisible. Anyone with trained instincts would notice you."
"You need to teach me that, Papa!" Leta's eyes beemed with joy, as she cancelled her magic trick.
The girl jumped to her father's lap.
"Haha. One day, one day." King Rafael pat her head. "Now go play on the garden. And try not to sneak on people with your magic."
Leta giggled as she jumped off and ran to the garden of the castle.
....
Iguana Street, Kingdom Rosé.
The King of Ciliegia, Coblepot was sat on his carriage, accompanied by his two advisors and two trusted guards.
"You will regret it, King Rafael..." Coblepot muttered to himself.
One of his advisors spoke up.
"My liege, i propose that we not make any hasty decisions."
The other one agreed. "Forgive my boldness, but I believe we should rid ourselves of the Kingdom Rosé. We could make an attack on the king and queen, and then use that as an excuse to incite war, as a form of retaliation."
"Mm..." Coblepot was deep in thought. "We will do this today." He said to the knights.
"Yes, Your Majesty!" The two knights jumped off the carriage.
Coblepot watched quietly as the two knights ran away in speeds that far surpassed that of a simple arrow.
...
On the castle of Kingdom Rosé.
The 12 years old walked into the garden, where she saw the queen happily pruning the flowers.
She had comfortable clothes, much more than those worthy of a true queen. In fact, Queen Leta III seemed like a simple commoner.
Queen Leta was in a wheelchair.
"Mama!" The princess ran to and kisses her cheek, the Queen was blushing and giggling.
"You sneaked on your dad's meeting? You shouldn't use Zero Presentation for that, little girl." Queen Leta karate choped the girl on top of the head.
"So you already know? Dang it... both your mind reading and Papa's Sixth Sense are impressive, Mama." The princess pouted.
"You will unlock Mind Reading once you turn thirteen, so don't worry. Do you want to help me with the flowers?"
"Yes!"
Both mother and daughter pruned the flowers in the garden.
Before they knew it, it was already evening.
One of the new servants, a petite woman in a beige dress, went to them and helped push the wheelchair.
"Thank you, Amanda." Said the Queen.
"You're welcome, Your Majesty." Amanda bowed her head slightly.
Both queen and princess chuckled at Amanda's laid-back attitude.
"Mama, let's buy a pretty dress tomorrow!"
"Of course, but it's already late. Then it's time for bed, Leta."
Amanda and Queen Leta scorted the princess to her room.
After putting her to sleep, the two left the room and walked through the corridors.
"..." the Queen was pondering something, with a thoughtful face.
"What's wrong, Your Majesty?" Asked Amanda.
"Nothing. I was just wondering if I should hand Leta something passed to me by my mother. I'm scared that she's still too young."
"Well, If I may say so, I think Miss Leta is a very responsible girl." Amanda stated.
"Hmm..."
Suddenly, they've heard a loud boom coming from the throne room.
"Your Maje—"
Before the servant could say anything, the Queen had already jumped out of the wheelchair, making a light sonic boom that deafened Amanda for a second.
Spirit Armor was one of the Rosé clan's special abilities. It increased a person's physical strength significantly. Making it so that even a woman in a wheelchair could move at absurd speeds, her legs were fully functional now.
The Queen got into the throne room, which was on the other side of the great castle, more than two and a half thousand meters away, in just one second.
"Darling!!" She yelled, kicking the door down and snapping it in half.
"Queen Leta!" One of the nobles shouted in surprise, but the Queen ignored him.
Her eyes darted around quickly, seeing the nobles and the kingdom's knight with his sword ready.
The King, Rafael, He was holding an armored man by the helmet's head. He soon noticed her.
"Oh, hi. What are you doing, honey? Using Spirit Armor? You know that you can let this kind of thing to me, hon."
Queen Leta sighed in relief.
There was a huge hole in the wall of the throne room, and another armored man was splattered on the ground, on the other side of it. Considering all the dents in the armor and the blood spread, that one was already dead.
"So, who are you?" Asked the King, shaking the man in his hand. "Weren't you one of Coblepot's knights? That rascal... he ordered you to attack me, didn't he?"
The man chuckled, his voice breaking down as much as his bones. "N-no... not just you."
A flash occurred suddenly, blinding everyone in the throne room.
And then, with an explosion, everyone there was disintegrated.
