Nova was flying through the air heading north of the planet. Deen slept like a bar on her back almost seemed like he was snoring. Nova easily flew with him there despite Deen being taller and a bit larger than her.
Nova is an average woman. However her body figure wasn't the the most satisfying for some group of people.
Her chest below average but her figure well curved and slender. Her long overflowing hair did have it charm too, depending on ones taste she might be extremely beautiful.
That small figure carried Deen for hours. She had reached a decision to find a way to fix Deen first.
Only she and probably Deen knew what she was trying to find at the north of planet Earth.
Deep inside Deen, a place where even Nova who was linked to Deen couldn't find a progress bar slowly increased.
[ Linking…4%]
The System was slowly and permanently integrating with Deen's very existence.
Nova travelled for about 5 hours and was about half way there when some complications arrived.
She wasn't flying at very fast pace as she hoped Deen might wake up on his own.
"This again!"
Nova turned to look into the sky above her she spotted an incoming bombardment.
A missile was heading her way and in just a few seconds an impact would happen blowing them both.
"Really?"
She stopped midair and waited for the missile with a bit of an annoyed face.
"3 2 1… Achieve!" She commanded her powers.
She rose her hand before herself and the missile seemed to disappear into it. It shrank as it entered and fit inside her arm. Soon there was nothing left.
That was Nova Special Ability, common to her race the Achieve Race.
They all her the special ability ability to turn anything into pure data. This data is then achieved inside their minds making them understand the the full information of what the user just Achieved.
This includes living things too but she can't convert individual living things with more Cosmic Energy than herself.
Unfortunately she is one of the extremely rare remnant of her race. Her species were hunted down to a point she sought ways to become human before meeting Deen.
One more thing is that her race including her don't forget. Their memories are absolute.
"Phew! I better stop flying. Humans will be humans and shoot down everything they don't understand."
Soon she was walking on a path she discovered.
For two more hours she walked the chilly roads surrounded by heavy rainforest. It provided good cover from the satellite and she had maneuvered in a way that she appeared to have landed on a certain spot but currently very far from it.
The government battle jets still roomed around.
In silence she walked the lonely place her spirit strong and bold.
Deen didn't show any signs of walking up. In fact things seemed to be getting worse on Nova perspective.
From a distance, Nova noticed what looked like a village although it was difficult to see what was inside it from a far. Her eyesight was good but she couldn't see through things.
Without fear she headed straight for the village.
"Stop right there Intruder! This village and land is restricted. Please turn around."
Two guardsmen stood in front of the weak wooden gate. The gate had nothing to it and probably meant to stop domestic animals from running away from the village but the guards were holding spears. Meaning they meant business.
"I'm glad I learned all possible language I could find on this planet."
Nova said to herself.
"What was that? " The guard asked.
"Nothing. Could you please find it in your heart to help us. My partner is Ill and looking for a doctor."
She lied mostly.
The guards looked at one another then whispered something among themselves.
Finally they seemed to have arrived to some sort of conclusion.
"Come, we'll take you to the village chief. She will decide."
Nova followed one of the guardsmen as the other was left behind.
The guard guided Nova to small hut. Compared to the others around it, it was a large hut.
Some villagers gave them some looks but none of them seemed malicious.
"Your Miteshi has a visitor for you Chief!"
Th guard announced standing outside. The two waited for a while along with the sleeping Deen.
Then a woman probably in her 30s drew the long skin curtain and walked outside. Just like the guards she wore a great number of ornaments. If fact they seemed more compared to the guards and everyone else in the village Nova had observed so far.
Then the guard walked closer to the Chief and the two bowed in unison.
However the bowing wasn't a normal one. Their heads hit one another to a point where even Nova became stunned a bit.
While Nova was thinking it might have been a miscalculation of the distance by the two before bowing they barted heads again.
The act was so violent you could clearly hear the sounds of two sculls colliding.
That was their form of greeting. A brutal unpleasant slamming of heads. Maybe it had some sort of meaning but it wasn't Nova's problem.
Or so she thought.
"Greet the Chief Visitor." Hearing that, Nova tensed a bit.
She gulped then moved to the position the guard had been.
The ritual… say the greeting happened. Nova Clon slammed her head to the Chief's twice.
Nova Clon almost felt her head ache but she was probably imagining it.
"You're a strong woman. Welcome to the village. It's good you can speak our language."
The chief called the guard by the side and he seemed to be passing information to the her as evident by the constant nodding from the chief.
The Chief then walked back to the hut.
"Come with me, you can give your sick to the guard he will take him to Helotopi."
Helotopi was the doctor as Nova assumed.
"Thanks for the offer but I can't stay away from him. I mean no disrespect or doubt in your Helotopi."
Nova boldly asserted.
The chief just waved her hand showing the guard to got back to work.
"Let's get inside then and talk."
…
Nova was seated opposite of the chief on animal skin. There was a cup of served green substance. Nova had been suspicious of it but after two sips she seemed to be enjoying it.
"Amazing! What is this stuff made of!" She asked her eyes glowing in joy.
"Oh, That's called Gloro. I'm glad you're enjoying it. That's Grorili leaves freshly boiled, sugarcane and a sprinkle of Glariti." The chief explained
"The aroma is fantastic too. I'm feeling energetic just smelling it."
" There is also a pint of Glorena powder giving the it the rejuvenating and sweet aroma. It has some wonderful healing properties."
The chief said as she took a sip from her own cup of Gloro. The two enjoyed a moment of silence until Nova broke the ice.
"I see. I'm sorry I got carried away."
"It's no problem. It's good to appreciate the little we get from Gur our God. Do you want more?"
"Sure."
The chief poured some more from the clay kettle slowly cooking of the sidelines.
Her expression the quickly turned serious.
"My name is Chief Giroma. I'm the head and the father of all the children in my village. My job is to make sure they are safe from any form of harm and disturbance through guiding them and The blessings of Gur guiding me."
She paused and took a gentle sip of Gloro.
"Who are you and what do you really want with my village?"
