Things That Exist

In an abandoned old village, there lived a sorcerer with extraordinary powers. He was once an orphan who endured a harsh life, marginalized by the village community due to extreme poverty. David Harris, that was his name.

The village was bleak, with everyone impoverished and serving under a cruel king. This king would force, beat, and even kill his subjects if they didn't obey him. Among his subjects was David, who had suffered immensely. He witnessed the cruelty of the villagers and the inhumanity of their treatment.

One day, while working as usual without pay, David witnessed an old lady being struck with a club, crying out in pain. Filled with deep-seated hatred, David rushed to her aid, striking the soldier who attacked her. This action led to an onslaught by a group of sorcerers in black robes, liberating the king's subjects and taking them to another kingdom called Anhar.

The king and his ministers were furious that one of their enslaved territories was attacked by the kingdom of Anhar. King Afjad, ruler of a grand kingdom where only the elite enjoyed luxury while the common folk were oppressed, harbored an impossible ambition: to become immortal. He commanded his army to conquer and explore every corner of the world, using magic even to eliminate dissent within his own ranks. They believed that eventually, one of their subjects would betray them and destroy the kingdom of Afjad, hence the strict rules imposed on their subjects and those who sought entry.

In the kingdom of Anhar, all the slaves from the kingdom of Afjad were treated well and given proper food and care. Among them was the old lady who had been struck with a club earlier, still alive. The head of one of Anhar's military divisions conducted a lottery, allowing the slaves to enlist as soldiers. The people cheered and eagerly volunteered, fueled by a burning desire for revenge against the king, ministers, and all the authorities of the kingdom of Afjad. David also participated in the lottery to become a soldier.

The first day of training as a soldier in Anhar was extremely challenging for David and the newcomers. They were trained to become sorcerers and to use magic in warfare. Additionally, they were taught conventional warfare skills such as archery, swordsmanship, and other weaponry. Unlike in Afjad, in Anhar, after training, they were provided with sufficient food to stay energized. David encountered someone named Samuel, who was kind but shy. Samuel often helped soldiers with physical and strategic aspects of war. He usually kept to himself during breaks or other times. David observed Samuel closely every day, curious about him. He eventually approached Samuel and struck up a conversation. He discovered that Samuel was the son of a great man who had once opposed King Xaphan of the kingdom of Afjad, rallying slaves who sought to betray the king. However, their rebellion failed, resulting in the massacre of all the rebels and the floors being stained with the blood of the fighters. Xaphan, the cruel king, was behind it all. Samuel, at that time, was just a child who didn't understand anything. He was brought to the kingdom of Anhar by someone.

From that day forward, David and Samuel became close friends. They ate, worked, and trained together. Whenever one of them had a task to accomplish, the other would lend a helping hand. Samuel's shy demeanor gradually transformed into one of leadership and bravery. David held a regular soldier's rank, while Samuel rose to become a leader among the core soldiers of the kingdom. Despite Samuel's invitations to dine together during feasts, David always declined, fearing that his status as an ordinary soldier might cause jealousy among their comrades. Thus, David and Samuel began to drift apart on that day, rarely crossing paths anymore. David continued to train tirelessly, aiming to elevate his rank in hopes of reuniting with Samuel.

One day, a unit was tasked with a mission: to conduct a raid and bring slaves from King Xaphan's kingdom to the kingdom of Anhar. Days passed by without any significant news for David, neither sorrowful nor joyful. After a month, David was promoted to lead a unit, yet on the same day, there was a muster of the soldiers. David was astonished to see that the unit code he was now leading was the same as the one Samuel had led before. He felt puzzled and questioned the coincidence. It wasn't until news reached David that the previous unit, led by Samuel, had suffered heavy casualties, including Samuel himself.

This left David in despair, as something he cherished was lost due to something he despised. David remained silent, devoid of any emotions such as anger or anything else. He simply sat there, stunned and speechless. In the midst of this silence, he was approached by the same old lady who gave him a book, uttering the words, "You are his successor." Before David could inquire further about her identity or whom she referred to, she vanished like a fleeting shadow.

Seeking permission from his superiors or trainers, David expressed his desire to embark on a journey to explore different places and gather knowledge to unite and overthrow Afjad. Due to his relatively high rank, his request was granted. He would commence his expedition the following day, ensuring to bring along the book given to him by the old lady.

While exploring, David encountered many mystical phenomena beyond his comprehension, ranging from decipherable to chaotic occurrences that defied explanation. However, at one point, he stumbled upon a white cat inside an uninhabited golden temple deep within a forest. The temple showed no signs of moss, cracks, or other damages. The cat spoke, addressing David: "Are you David?" Surprised to hear a cat speak, David replied, "Yes, I am David. And who are you?" The cat responded, "I am the embodiment of the Moon Angler, also known as the Desert Knight. I have come here to merge with you under someone's instruction." David inquired, "Who is this person?" The cat answered, "He is an architect. He wants you to use this power to combat evil gods or to overcome paradoxes in the world of time."

David was puzzled as to why he received such a task and who this architect was. Reluctant to speak further, David simply agreed to the cat's request to merge with him. As they merged, the cat's aura radiated towards David, causing his physical body to vanish and reappear. This was one of the powers bestowed upon David: the ability to exist without a physical body vulnerable to conventional attacks. David's physical body now became a non-existent yet existent presence simultaneously, enabling him to delve deeper into the existence beyond human comprehension.

David continued his expedition, delving into the exploration and investigation of mystical phenomena that could and could not be explained. Days passed, and David made a discovery in an abandoned underground prison without inhabitants. Inside the prison, he heard strange sounds and even witnessed shadows crossing behind or above the ceiling of the underground dungeon. David sensed this to be a paranormal situation but had no choice but to press forward.

Step by step, David encountered unfamiliar footsteps trailing behind him. As he looked back, he saw a figure cloaked in black wielding a sword. The figure offered David a pact: to journey to a distant hill named Kenos. When David asked for the figure's name, it responded with "Zarafil."

Agreeing to Zarafil's request, the figure vanished, and David proceeded to the end of the underground prison. Upon reaching it, he discovered a totem-shaped object adorned with symbolic carvings from the prison walls. As David touched the totem, it lost control and transformed into a winged entity. Utilizing the magic he had learned, David engaged in combat with the entity.

All his powers proved ineffective against the entity until Zarafil reappeared, this time with his sword. With a single strike, the entity was banished from their world, never to return. The totem fell to the ground, and Zarafil vanished. David retrieved the totem and placed it back in its original position. A golden light emanated from the carvings on the walls of the underground prison, and the totem shimmered before entering David's body.

The power bestowed by the totem granted David control over supernatural beings and bestowed upon him immortality in the form of unlimited lifespan. Now, David's goal was to journey to Kenos Hill as directed by Zarafil. During the long journey, David gained profound experiences and knowledge about the world he now inhabited, aided by the book given to him by the old lady, which served as a valuable reference for enhancing his magical abilities and more.

The first place David visited on his journey to Kenos Hill was an ancient monument located in the desert. The monument bore an inscription of a mantra. To his astonishment, chanting the mantra summoned creatures formed from sand and the monument's stones. However, David easily vanquished the entire army of creatures. From the center of the monument, another totem emerged. David touched the totem, and it entered his body, granting him a new power. He was bestowed with the ability to create his own creatures, not just from sand but also from earth, water, fire, and any other material present in the world. Additionally, he gained the ability to duplicate and create armies.

The second place David encountered on his journey was a rocky and desolate location. There, a voice echoed in his mind, repeatedly whispering, "Zamriel... Zamriel... Zamriel." This was the name of a forbidden ancient ritual in David's society. David wondered where the voice came from and who was whispering in his mind.

Suddenly, Zarafil appeared before David and stated, "Kenos is not here; it exists in another world." David asked, "How do I get to another world?" Zarafil replied, "Zamriel, the Zamriel ritual will take you there." David agreed to Zarafil's request to use Zamriel to travel to another world, and the stones surrounding them lit up with Arabic numerals.

David woke up in a vast and beautiful place, surrounded by blooming flowers. Despite the breathtaking scenery, he paid no heed and continued on his journey towards Kenos Hill, as instructed by Zarafil. Step by step, David stumbled upon a wide lake and decided to rest there. Shortly after, a magnificent palace emerged from the center of the lake, adorned with a shining golden crystal that illuminated the entire lake. As the crystal approached David, he realized it resembled a person—a woman formed from the golden crystal introduced herself as Fatin.

David, struck with awe, watched as Fatin extended a light green staff with a star symbol carved at its tip. Perplexed, he asked, "What is this?" Fatin replied, "I have heard that the Architect can manipulate stories accurately, and you are his chosen one."

The golden aura entered David's body, granting him the power of Domain Control from Fatin. With this power, he could effortlessly manipulate space, time, and reality, all bending to his will. From Fatin's power, he gained immense knowledge and the ability to solve previously impossible tasks. He learned that the realm he now occupied was called Zephyria.

As days passed, David visited another place during his journey to Kenos Hill—a graveyard. But this was no ordinary graveyard; it was the resting place of supernatural, mystical, and mythological beings. David planted his staff into the ground, causing the entire graveyard to tremble. The spirits rose from their graves and entered David's staff, granting him absolute immortality and the combined power of all the spirits within the graveyard.

After a long journey, David finally reached his ultimate destination: Kenos Hill. He shouted, "Zarafil, I have completed my task!" Zarafil appeared in the sky and said, "Strike your staff on the peak of the hill, and you shall see the result." David did as instructed, and the entire hill shimmered and merged with his spiritual essence. The final power bestowed upon him was an immensely potent ability: the five defenses of Kenos Hill, surpassing imagination.

Kenos Hill embodied all mathematical constructs, representing the manifestation of the infinite and comprehensible. It began from the limitless calculations of Aleph and extended endlessly to concepts like Extindeble Cardinal, Berkeley cardinal, Reinhardt, and others. Though it repeated endlessly, this concept formed the body of Kenos Hill.

The first defense of Kenos Hill, named Shifar, rendered all powers into absolute nothingness that could not be restored to reality by any means. It was the annihilation of supers that could destroy all powers, regardless of dimension or abstraction.

The second defense of Kenos Hill, named Hovos, resided in a dimension beyond the concept of space-time. Here, the foundational concept of everything unlimited existed, surpassing mere mathematical constructs. In this realm, what exceeded, like vast mathematical sets, were mere trivialities or voids embraced by something larger with extremely high abstract concepts. It was called hyperspace, and the power of Hovos allowed David to alter reality to touch the hyperspace.

The third defense of Kenos Hill, named Hi lyayah, pertains to the existence and non-existence, combining principles of anti-existence and regular existence, encompassing both conventional and unconventional aspects. This power can bring everything into existence or be used as regenerative force for Kenos Hill.

The fourth defense of Kenos Hill, named Zorgo, defies human understanding. It employs aspects akin to quantum mechanics, though not composed of quantum itself, shattering conventional understanding. Zorgo is used not for ordinary attacks but for assaults originating from non-existence, overwhelming both existing beings and non-existent manifestations. It extends attacks across vast distances, traversing both real and unreal existences.

The fifth and final defense of Kenos Hill is Hufal. It possesses the power to break through any resistance and immunity, regardless of scale or dimension, including hyper-dimensional beings. No force can withstand Hufal's resistance-breaking power, transcending dimensions from 0 to infinity and beyond, including hyper-dimensional creatures.

Coupled with David's Domain Control power, enabling him to infinitely duplicate all concepts of Kenos Hill, he becomes immensely powerful, surpassing high-level existences or even the concept of dimensions. This transcends linear time and any possibilities.

This is where David's greatest battle took place, in a realm called the Void. The Void surpasses exotic concepts like entire mathematics and the laws of quantum physics. It is grounded directly in hyper-dimensional concepts and absolute non-existence. Everything entering the Void becomes nothingness and abstraction, involving aspects of thought, destiny, and reality. In this silent world, David saw a black rift tearing through the Void, emitting an immensely unpleasant sound. Without hesitation, David approached the rift.

The limitations of the Void shattered, and chaos ensued as a god emerged from the rift, with wooden skin emitting endless smoke and blood. This god was named Safak. Safak was an entity beyond David's comprehension, and even an entire Kenos Hill was unable to touch the lowest part of Safak's body structure. This left David stunned, wondering how something approaching godhood could not touch a creature emerging from a rift.

As time passed in the Void, everything vibrated, including the defenses of Kenos Hill. It was a force beyond David's imagination. Despite his attempts to attack Safak, it was futile. Not only did the entire power of Kenos Hill fail to harm Safak, but it also didn't even touch Safak's body, as if there was something restraining all powers. Everything began to lose control, including space and abstract concepts around them.

Safak opened his mouth and uttered a phrase that shook the world: "Al Hifar Roh." This caused the Void and hyper-dimensional concepts to crumble and chaos ensued. Kenos Hill cracked inexplicably, and everything collapsed. This time, David utilized his two powers, Domain Control and Kenos Hill. Kenos Hill was duplicated infinitely, becoming an embodiment of unlimited possibilities, combining all powers to barely scratch Safak's surface.

From Safak's body emerged a black Matter that swiftly shot towards one of the Kenos Hills, nearly obliterating countless iterations of Kenos Hill. David relentlessly attacked, his unlimited Kenos Hills managing to inflict some damage on Safak's surface. Safak retaliated, and they exchanged blows. Despite the infinite Kenos Hills struggling to match Safak's power, a miracle occurred.

David identified Safak's weakness: slowing down his attacks to allow for counterattacks, effectively limiting Safak's power. This tactic nearly cost David his life as Safak unleashed a devastating blow. David seized his staff and thrust it into Safak's head, dealing a critical blow. With no other choice, David fled before Safak's rage intensified.

Safak, severely wounded, swiftly regenerated his entire body without exerting excessive power. He destroyed the staff piercing his head and expelled all the spirits, rendering them dead. They challenged Safak, believing he couldn't kill them since they were already dead, but they underestimated Safak's power. Safak spoke once more, uttering "Mujud Ghir," extinguishing all the spirits, erasing them completely.

Unsatisfied, Safak swung his scythe into the void, splitting the entire hyper-space and revealing David attempting to escape. The scythe struck Kenos Hill, causing a portion of it to crumble. Even the power of Hi lyayah couldn't repair the damage. Zarafil appeared with his sword, Khalam AL Fasal Alsif, capable of altering the narrative. However, despite Zarafil's attempt to defeat Safak, it proved ineffective. The narrative twisted and turned on its own.

David, wielding Kenos Hill, and Zarafil, with the sword Khalam AL Fasal Alsif, faced off against Safak, a god from the outer realms. Safak spoke another word, "Takhilah Fi Khalmk," creating a defense in the surrounding hyper-space. David and Zarafil unleashed their full power, but it only resulted in a drastic decline in creation, as Safak's defense took its toll on the fabric of reality.

It was extremely difficult to defeat Safak as he existed beyond their capabilities. Zarafil was nearly killed in one of Safak's attacks, but thanks to David's assistance, he survived. Not until a single fragment fell—a shining golden shard with the name Azrael inscribed upon it. As the fragment merged, it bolstered Zarafil and David's power to match Safak's.

In the end, Safak was defeated. But who was Safak really? Safak was the creator of negative universal phenomena in the story series. He transcended hyper-space, instilling cosmic dread. Spatial-temporal distortions were just the smallest aspects of Safak's power. No conventional or unconventional force could harm Safak, who was a manifestation of infinite nothingness. He possessed the profound ability to alter reality, including realities both existing and non-existent.

David returned to his original world, only to find it devastated by the onslaught of the Afjad kingdom. Fueled by vengeance, David slammed his foot into the ground, causing everything in the world, including all existing knowledge, to collapse into an empty white space. With no choice left, David retreated to the world of Zephyria and settled in a fantasy village of his own creation.

Here, one might think Safak had been killed, but no, Safak is eternal—not in the ordinary sense of eternity, but eternal in relation to nothingness. If Safak were to be killed, Safak would cease to exist, but non-existence itself is the embodiment of Safak. Additionally, Safak is merely a minor deity of darkness compared to other gods of the outer realms.

The end.
